Chapter 315
All of these supplies now belonged to the Haylight League.
With this batch of weapons, every member of the Haylight League could be fully armed
Firearms came with restrictions, so they didn’t use them often, but using them less didn’t mean having none.
With this stockpile, the Haylight League’s overall strength rose another level.
Hayley registered the haul under Griffin’s name, although the supplies all went into her inventory. That also made everyone finally understand why Hayley kept him tied to her side all the time.
Just as they were fully loaded and preparing to head back, a sudden crack of thunder exploded overhead. At the same time, a deep rumbling tremor rolled beneath Hayley’s feet.
It felt like the ground itself was about to split open.
At the entrance, Leonard shouted, “Boss! It’s raining outside!”
The moment Hayley heard that, her head buzzed.
Damn it! Was this a freaking landslide?
“Run, now!”
Hayley grabbed Griffin with one hand and yanked Thomas with the other, sprinting toward the exit where Leonard was waiting
As for everyone else, they could run for themselves.
In less than 20 seconds, Hayley got her people safely out. The instant she reached the entrance, she saw a torrential downpour crashing down outside.
The entrance they had just dug out started shedding mud nonstop. With a loud crash, a massive slab of dirt slid down and buried half the doorway.
Hayley shoved everyone aside and shouted, “Leonard, take Thomas and get in the vehicle. Start it now!”
She spun back and dragged Griffin over, using her hands to tear away the chunks of mud piling up at the entrance
“Hurry up in there!” Hayley yelled inside.
