Chapter 581

Right now…

A massive crowd of zombies packed the hallway outside a locked classroom on the first floor.

The long corridor was jammed wall to wall with them.

Some were tall, some short. There were men, women, students, teachers, cafeteria workers, and security guard

Rotting faces shoved against each other as they slammed violently into the classroom door, which looked ready give way at any second.

Sydney and Andrew stood on top of desks. In front of them was a waist-high window.

The aluminum frame was already bending under the pounding from outside. Handprints smeared across the du: glass as zombies pressed in. The ones closest opened their jaws impossibly wide, gnawing and snapping at the

window.

Sydney and Andrew could see everything clearly: yellowed, jagged teeth, shriveled upper jaws like crocodile mouths, rotting tongues oozing infection, and deep throats stretched open as they howled.

Dark red and black sludge dripped from their mouths every time they opened them, smearing across the glass. They looked like they wanted to bite straight through the window and swallow everyone whole.

“Raarh!”

“Raarh!”

“Raarh!”

Crash!

The sound of curtains being yanked shut cut through the noise.

Andrew pulled the curtain closed after blocking the window, shutting out the nightmare outside for a moment.

Sydney gripped the desk tightly, about to climb down so she could check the last back exit. The moment she looked up, she froze.

Trina had already reached the rear door. Her hand was on the baseball bat wedged into the handle.

The door opened outward and couldn’t be locked, so they had jammed the bat through the handle to keep it from being pulled open.

With a sharp motion, Trina yanked the bat free.

“Trina! What are you doing?” Sydney screamed instantly.

Everyone in the classroom turned toward Trina at the same time Every face changed

“Trina! Put the bat back!”

“Hah.” Trina let out a cold laugh Behind her, the unblocked door rattled violently under the pounding outside. She sneered, “Now you’re stared? Where was that fear when you were all picking on me earlier?”

“Trina, you’re completely out of line!” Marvin shouted as he stepped toward her

The moment he moved closer, Trina grabbed the door handle “Don’t come any closes, or I’ll open it!”

+15 Bahus

“What are you trying to do?” Marvin stopped immediately.

Seeing everyone freeze, Trina finally looked satisfied. She swept her gaze across the room.

“I want every single one of you on your knees. Slap yourselves until I’m satisfied! Especially Sydney, Ryker, and you, Marvin. If your faces aren’t swollen raw, then you can all wait here and die!” 1

Sydney immediately looked toward Marvin and the others.

Andrew and several uninvolved students stood frozen, brows tightly furrowed.

Marvin stared straight at Trina, lips pressed thin. He had always believed in his students and always tried to see the best in them.

Now, his eyes were filled with disappointment.
