Chapter 634

“Put Nathaniel down!” Lanes said coldly. “Do that, and I’ll spare your life.”

“Lance, are you insane? She can leave here alive!”

“Yes, she has to die!”

Abilities flared all around the room.

Everyone charged forward.

Hayley was strong, but the people surrounding her were all high-level Gifted. Most were level 5 or above, and even the weak were at least level 3.

With this many powerful fighters, even a deity would have trouble surviving.

Lance’s words were ignored.

The crowd surged toward Hayley.

Suddenly, something strange happened.

Their gifts vanished.

The speed-enhanced fighters instantly slowed to normal human speed.

A guard running forward with a massive war hammer suddenly staggered as the weight crashed down on his own arms.

Elemental gifts disappeared, and even rare abilities failed.

One inventory-variant Gifted panicked as supplies began spilling out of his storage space right onto the floor.

“Who said I was negotiating with you?” Hayley stood at the center of the room, holding Nathaniel by the throat. “You’re talkin like I planned to spare any of you.”

At that moment, even the slowest person in the room understood.

This was Hayley’s doing.

She could shut down everyone’s abilities!

Suddenly, the memory of the arena battle resurfaced.

Those two fighters who tried to self-destruct… Their gifts had vanished right before they died.

It hadn’t been an accident.

Hayley had done it.

The room fell silent as the realization hit all of them at once.

Hayley wasn’t just speed-enhanced and strength-enhanced. She controlled water and fire, could unleash defensive barriers, and had mental-variant gifts.

Now, she even had a forbidden ability that could suppress other powers.

How could one person possess so many gifts?

Nathaniel stared at her in disbelief.

He had always believed he understood Hayley better than anyone. But now, he realized he had barely scratched the surface

Before this moment, he thought Hayley was strong, afid her base was powerful.

Now, he understood the truths

Hayley alone was as powerful as an entire base. Maybe stronger.

“Don’t worry,” Hayley said calmly. “None of you will be left behind. You can keep each other company in hell.”

A rifle appeared in her hand.

An AK.

She even had inventory-variant gifts!

She looked toward the corner of the room.

“Kid, you wanted revenge for your sister. Here’s your chance. Go upstairs. Open the base gates. Tell the civilians on the top two levels to get on the ground and surrender. If they do, they live.”

In the corner, Gideon’s body stiffened. Then, he nodded hard.

“You got it, Ms. Reid.”

Without hesitation, he ran out of the hall.

Several others tried to follow, but Hayley shot them one by one.

She stood in the center of the so-called trial hall and spoke into her earpiece.

“Spread my orders. Kill every manager in all three Ark bases. Spare no one.

“In Ark Two, kill everyone in the middle and inner zones.

“In Ark One, kill everyone living below Level Three, and in Ark Three, everyone above the third floor. Anyone who resists, kill them. Anyone who joins us will be protected.
