Gideon opened the gates of Ark One Base.

Through those gates came Griffin, Leonard, and a large group of fighters.

By the time the sun rose the next morning, blood had spread across every corner of the three bases.

Hayley and her people had fought through the entire night.

The directors and senior leadership of all three bases were dead. Their management structures had been completely wiped o and replaced.

During the uprising, Gideon personally killed Lionel, the Level One manager.

Lionel was the father of Penelope, the girl who caused Nora’s death.

Leena and her Women’s Unit hunted down the managers and thugs from Ark Two who had once abused them.

One by one, they cut them down. Their bodies were thrown into the beast arena pits.

Max led more than 500 people in Ark Three.

“Reward every survivor who fought. Honor every fallen hero with a full burial. If they left behind families or children, register them as full citizens of Haylight Base. They’ll receive permanent double citizen benefits.”

Her voice carried through the command channels.

Liam in Ark Two and Milo in Ark Three listened as she gave the orders.

“The three Ark bases are now members of Haylight League They are now our 69th, 61st, and 62nd allied bases. From today on, no one will beat you, enslave you, or throw you into arenas for entertainment.

“You’ll eat full meals. You’ll have grains and meat on the table. You’ll be allowed to own property again. No one will steal from you. And when zombies threaten you, the other 59 bases of the Haylight League will stand beside you. We’ll face the apocalypse together!”

Her voice was broadcast across all three bases.

Everyone heard it.
