Chapter 886

“I’m not here to trade jokes with you. What do you actually want?” Hayley asked.

The man gave her a small, easy smile and went on, unhurried. “Your aunt’s poison has been cured by now, right? Professor K is with you. He knows how to treat it.”

Hayley’s brows drew tight. Her expression hardened, but she said nothing.

“You’ve seen it yourself. I have no intention of hurting you. We didn’t tamper with the serum. Consider that a gesture of goodwill from Ascendant Creed.”

There was a quiet arrogance in his tone.

He made it sound as if Hayley and Ruby were nothing more than insects to him; that they weren’t worth the effort to crush, even though he could do it with a flick of his hand.

Letting them go was, in his mind, an act of generosity and proof of their restraint.

Hayley tightened her grip on the hilt. “What do you want?”

“We’d like to invite you to join Ascendant Creed.”

Decider Three stepped toward her, eyes sharp with interest.

“You’re the most exceptional individual we’ve found among all humanity. Let me see… How many gifts do you have?

“Metal, wood, water, fire, earth. The full elemental spectrum. Dual physical enhancements for strength and speed. A mental-type gift. Spatial storage. Air barrier. Prediction. Rare gifts like straight-line acceleration.

“Oh, and the way you moved through Sovereign Industries unnoticed. It took us a long time to confirm it, but that’s a highly unusual perception-dampening gift. People around you instinctively overlook your

presence.”

“Honestly… You’re full of surprises,” he said, studying her with open fascination.

Everyone around her had gone still, their eyes wide.

Leonard, Derek, and the others were used to it. They knew Hayley was strong, and she had more gifts

than most.

Josh and his group, on the other hand, were completely stunned. They looked at Hayley like she wasn’t

even human.

What the hell?

More than ten gifts.

Hayley had more than ten!

How was that even possible? Did people like that really exist?

This was beyond top-tier. This was something else entirely. No wonder everyone called her Boss!

At this point, they wanted to call her that, too.

Hayley listened to him lay everything out, a faint, cold smile tugging at her lips.

He had nearly stripped her clean. Only a few of her most concealed gifts remained hidden: teleportation, electromagnetic interference, and her pulse-type gift. 2

The ones she kept as her final cards.

Her grip on the blade tightened.

Decider Three continued, “Someone like you is exactly what Ascendant Creed needs. You’re the leader we’ve been searching for. Join us, and we’ll raise you to a place above all others.”

“What does that even mean?” Hayley lifted her gaze.
