The Endgame Chronicles (by Hugh White) novel Chapter 895

Chapter 895

After cursing out Ascendant Creed, Hayley raised her voice.

“Alex!”

Alex, who had been buried in reports, rushed over without stopping. “Hayley, I haven’t been slacking. I’v been working on your plans the whole time.”

“Forget the plans! I need you to broadcast globally right now. Reach every base you can. Offer whatever it takes. We’ll supply them with resources for free if we have to. I want every base in the world to join Haylight League and declare war on Ascendant Creed!”

There was a sharp edge in her voice, cold and decisive.

She didn’t care about any so-called zombie civilization.

She was human. As long as she lived, she would never stand on the same side as the zombies.

As for Ascendant Creed, there was no room for compromise.

Alex froze for a second, clearly confused.

Still, he didn’t question her. He moved immediately, not about to risk setting her off.

Once the orders were sent out, Hayley called in Liam, Milo, and every base director within Haylight

League.

She laid out everything about Ascendant Creed.

When she finished, the room fell into stunned silence.

“Are you saying… The zombie outbreak we’re facing now was created by Ascendant Creed?”

“Yes,” Hayley said.

The zombie virus had been discovered, developed, and released worldwide by them.

All for their idea of evolution.

“Those sick bastards!” Milo slammed his hand against the arm of his chair, splintering the solid wood.

The other base directors were no better. Rage spread across every face.

The virus had swept the world, turning their spouses, their families, and their friends into monsters or killing them outright.

In an instant, the world had been dragged into hell.

No one here could forget those first days.

They had watched the people they loved become something unrecognizable. One moment, they were

parents, lovers, children, close friends, and coworkers. The next, they were things that hunted and tore

flesh.

Everyone who had survived had lost someone.

Four years of this world had ground people down to the edge. Every step of rebuilding order had come the cost of blood and tears.

If it had been a natural disaster, that would be one thing.

But this was man-made.

Ascendant Creed deserved to be destroyed.

“They’re our enemy.” Even Liam, always calm, couldn’t hide the hatred in his voice.

“Yeah, enemy!”

“Our enemy!”

“Enemy!”

The others echoed him, one after another.

Hayley looked around at them, all standing on the same side.

Good.

Not one of them had been swayed.

They were human. They wouldn’t betray that.

They would never stand with the zombies.

“Hayley, what’s the plan?” Liam asked.

“I’ve already had Alex send out a global broadcast. The first step is to connect every surviving base. We support them and bring them into our alliance.”

“Agreed!”

“Yes, agreed!”

“We have to pull everyone together!”

“As long as they’re alive, they’re one of us!”

“Blossom Base will contribute all surplus points and supplies!”

“Same here!”

“Me Reid, our base has funds, too We’ll contribute!”

wasn’t standing alone.

Everyone behind her was in this fight with her.

This wasn’t just her battle anymore, but a full-scale clash between humanity and zombies.

Just as Hayley was about to unlock every warehouse and begin distributing supplies, a sharp signal pulsed through her territory link. The radar system immediately flagged incoming hostiles.
