Chapter 120
Alex continued, “You pissed him off so badly that he went to the river to cool off.
“Your grandpa had a personal acciilent insurance policy with Glory Insurance, and three months ago, he switched the beneficiary from your aunt to you.
“With your pocket money always being withheld, you started considering murder–just to score that insurance payout. Alex narrowed his eyes, each word hitting like a hammer.
“You knew exactly where he liked to stroll along the river, so you waited for the right moment and shoved him in when nobody was looking,” Alex finished.
Two cops stepped forward and grabbed lan.
“Let go of me. How could I hurt my own grandpa?” Ian shouted, struggling desperately.
“It wasn’t me. You can’t do this. I have to finish something critically important.
“If I’m not there, everyone’s efforts will all be wasted,” he yelled.
Alex cut him off coldly. “With a murder on your hands, you still have time to worry about anything else?”

Alex narrowed his eyes at Simon. “If you’re so sure, be my guest. Go find your own
evidence.”
He gestured to the cops holding Ian. “I’m taking him back for questioning. Within 24 hours, I’ll make sure he gives up every last detail,” Alex said coldly.
With that, Alex escorted Ian away, leaving Nina and Simon standing face to face.
Nina frowned, tugging on Simon’s sleeve. “Simon, the sun’s not down yet. What should we do next?”
Simon squinted into the distance. “Let’s go check the place people mentioned where lan was practicing dance. We need to verify his alibi.”

Faded signs of safety were still visible on the battered walls, while the iron gates were thick with rust.
They hadn’t even gotten close when the booming music and squeaks of shoes on the floor started blaring out from inside.
They shoved open the screeching, rusty gate and found about half a dozen young men with brightly dyed hair practicing
