The Love I Begged For Was Never Real novel Chapter 555

"Psycho... You're a complete psycho!"

Nora sobbed, trying desperately to yank her hand away.

She couldn't break free from his iron grip at all. All she could do was watch helplessly as the blood flowed heavier and heavier, soaking massive patches of the bedsheets.

Looking at the ghastly, pale smile on his face, her stomach churned violently.

This psycho.

What on earth was he trying to achieve?

Using this self-mutilation to force her into a corner. Using this bloody spectacle to fill the twisted emptiness in his own heart.

He thought that as long as he bled, as long as he put on this death-defying show, she would soften. She would just write off the ocean of blood between them like it never happened.

Absurd. Laughable.

Nora took a deep breath, and with every shred of energy she had, she screamed toward the bedroom door.

"Somebody! Get in here!"

Her piercing shriek shattered the silence beyond the heavy doors.

The bodyguards standing on standby outside immediately sensed something was horribly wrong.

With a massive *bang*, the heavy solid wood door was kicked open violently from the outside by the Head of Security.

A group of burly security personnel rushed into the room.

When they registered the gruesome scene before them, everyone sucked in a sharp breath.

Gideon was on his knees by the bed, a fruit knife buried in his abdomen.

Blood had already soaked through most of his clothes, dripping down his pant legs onto the rug, pooling into a terrifying crimson puddle.

And his hands were locked like a vice around Nora's right hand, trapping her in that blood-soaked nightmare.

"What are you staring at! Pull him off!"

Nora snapped her head toward the paralyzed guards, screaming at them.

The Head of Security snapped out of his daze and charged forward with two of his men.
