The Mafia King's Unknown Doctor Wife novel Chapter 376

Elena did, in fact, like Sloane's home. It wasn't quite as big as the Ferraro estate but it was much bigger than her childhood home. It looked like a beach house out of a some teen movie with its light blue body and golden rooftop and window trims.

The inside was just as spacious as Elena expected it to be. She liked the open floor plan. The living room, dining room, and kitchen were marked more by the odd column and furniture piece than any big wall.

"Still," Elena insisted. "It was pretty short notice."

Noah waved a hand dismissively as he smiled again. "Don't worry about that. The point is that Sloane and I are both pleased as punch to have you here."

Elena could tell from how Sloane's eyes sparkled that both adults were telling the truth. Noah loved Sloane more than anything in the world, and Sloane wanted Elena here—so Elena was welcome to stay here as long as she wanted.

"Thank you," Elena said bashfully. "I'll try not to be too much of a burden—"
