At 9:50 AM, with just ten minutes left until the Drowning in the Deep Blue kickoff ceremony, Audrey led Miles to their seats in the audience. They sat with the crew, sipping on the provided juice as they waited for the event to begin.

A reporter holding a microphone intercepted Julian. "Director Chandler, rumor has it the lead investor is attending today's ceremony in person. Is that true?"

Julian beamed. "Yes, it is! I was quite surprised and incredibly honored that they decided to come. It just goes to show how much faith they have in this project!"

"But the ceremony starts in less than ten minutes." The reporter pressed, "Are you sure they're coming?"

Julian frowned, opening his mouth to reply, when the sharp screech of tires echoed through the venue. A bright red BMW pulled up right outside the entrance.

The flashy entrance instantly drew every camera in the room.

The door popped open, and a woman dressed entirely in red stepped out, waving graciously to the flashing bulbs. "Hello, everyone!"

Recognizing the voice, Audrey's stomach dropped. She turned toward the entrance.

"Rainey Sinclair?" Miles raised an eyebrow, glancing at Audrey. "She's your investor?"

Audrey murmured, a deep crease forming between her brows. "I don't think so..."

A reporter quickly approached Rainey. "Excuse me, miss, are you the investor for this film?"

Rainey tilted her head, ensuring the cameras caught her best angle. "I'm not the investor, but I'm a close friend of his. I'm also one of the cast members for Drowning in the Deep Blue."
