The packs outcast Luna (Kaia and Theo) novel Chapter 164

Chapter 164

–Elara–

I had dreaded this day, and it was happening.

I watched the wedding and the crowning unfold with rage in my heart.

I clenched my fists, boiling with anger when I saw that Kaia got what I deserved.

Theo should be marrying me, not her; she doesn’t deserve him.

I didn’t want to be here, but I forgot it was their wedding today, so I came back from my parents’ place.

Cara forced me to dress up and join the wedding.

After they took their vows and exchanged a token of union, I felt my phone buzzing on my lap, but I ignored it.

I was seething as I watched Theo make Kaia his mate. I wasn’t in the mood to talk to anyone.

However, the call persisted.

After Kaia’s luna crowning, I stood up with my phone in my hands and left my seat.

When I got outside, I looked at my phone and saw it was Rabiya calling, and I wondered why she would keep calling me like that.

I returned her calls, and before the phone rang the second time, she picked it up.

“Babe, what’s going on?” I asked with concern. “You’ve been calling non-stop, are you alright?”

Rabiya’s voice exploded through the speaker.

“Elara! I’ve been calling you for hours! Why haven’t you picked up?!”

I rolled my eyes and sank onto the edge of my bed. “Because, Rabiya, I’ve been busy.”

“Busy doing what??” she demanded. “I thought you died or something!”\

I rubbed my forehead. “I was at Theo and Kaia’s wedding.”

There was a long pause.

“… You were where?” she asked to be sure.

“At their wedding.” I repeated impatiently. “The Luna coronation, the feast – you know, that thing the whole continent is talking about?”

“Oh.” Her voice dropped an octave. “Well… that’s a pretty good excuse.”

“Obviously,” I muttered. “Now, why were you blowing up my phone? I hope you are alright”

“I’m okay, Elara,” Rabiya said. “I was calling continuously because you didn’t take your calls the first time I called”

“I’m sorry, I had to attend the wedding to keep my pretence”, I explained, touching my forehead.

Chapter 164

“Elara,” she called out. “I found out who Kaia is.”

My entire body went still.

“What are you talking about?” I asked slowly.

“I remembered where I’d seen her before,” Rabiya rushed on. “It’s been bothering me, I’d seen her somewhere. And then it hit me.”

A cold sensation crept up the back of my neck.

“Rabiya,” I said sharply, “stop dragging it out. Where have you seen her?”

She took a shaky breath.

“She was at Silvermoon Pack. Elara… Kaia was once married to my brother.”

I almost dropped the phone.

“Married?” My voice cracked. “Your brother? Are you sure?”

“Yes!” Rabiya insisted. “When I was little, before I left Silvermoon, I used to play with my brother. She came to see him back then. I met her a few times; she was quiet, polite, and pretty. I can remember her now. That’s why she looked familiar!”

My mouth went dry.

Kaia. Married?

Does she have her past tied to Silvermoon?

To Rabiya’s family? And not just that, it’s to Alpha Draven of the Silvermoon pack?

This wasn’t just gossip. This was a bomb.

“This is unbelievable,” I said in disbelief. “Are you really sure about this? I dont want us to make any mistakes”

“I’m very sure, Elara,” Rabiya insisted, and I gasped. “So that you know, I saw a photo of her”

“Wait-” I pressed a hand to my forehead. “Where did you see Kaia’s photo?”

Rabiya inhaled sharply on the other end.

“In my brother’s things,” she said. “I was looking through his things a while ago. That’s when I accidentally knocked down his things and found a frame that he had packed up. Elara… when I opened it, there she was.”

My heart lurched.

“A picture of Kaia?” I whispered.

“Yes,” Rabiya said. “And not just that. She was wearing Silvermoon Luna attire.”

I sank onto my bed, the air leaving my lungs.

Kaia was wearing Luna attire? Was she Luna?

That’s unbelievable. No, this can’t be true!

“What did your brother say?” I managed.

Rabiya’s voice dropped. “He confirmed it.”

My pulse stopped for a second.

‘Elara, Kaia wasn’t just some girl he dated,” she continued. “She was his Luna. Officially, t other and bonded”

The phone nearly slipped from my hand.

I can’t believe Kaia was once Silvermoon’s Luna and Draven’s mate,

That woman was a lucky bitch, getting all the good stuff.

My stomach twisted painfully.

“That doesn’t make sense,” I hissed. “Silvermoon never announced a Luna.”

“They didn’t get the chance to,” Rabiya said urgently. “Something happened between them-something big. My brother won’t talk about it. He shut the album and told me never to bring her name up again.”

Rabiya continued, lowering her voice as if someone could hear her.

“Elara… Kaia isn’t just some stray. She has a history. A big one. And if Theo finds out-”

“I KNOW!” I snapped, pacing. “Gods, Rabiya, I know exactly what this means!”

Silence fell on my end.

I felt my breath growing heavier, and each minute felt more suffocating.

Kaia wasn’t a random stray as I had thought; she wasn’t some weak outsider whom Theo took pity on.

She had been a Luna before.

She had held status and power, something she never mentioned.

I wonder why. Why did she never tell anyone about this?

This wasn’t small; it was catastrophic.

“Elara?” Rabiya’s voice trembled. “Do you understand what this means? If Kaia becomes Luna again, Theo’s Luna – there will be serious consequences.”

Consequences.

The word rang in my ears.

If Theo married a former Luna from a powerful pack, a lot would go wrong.

If I expose Kaia’s truth and Draven came forward with a claim, Everything would explode.

“Why didn’t you tell me this earlier?” I hissed.

“I didn’t remember!” Rabiya cried. “But now that I have. Elara, you need to be careful. This girl isn’t as simple as she looks.”

Chapter 164

No. She wasn’t.

And this changed everything.

“Send me everything your family knows,” I said, forcing my voice steady. “Every detail. Right

“Elara, maybe we shouldn’t-

“Now, Rabiya!” I screamed, losing my cool.

She fell silent, then whispered, “Alright. I’ll send it.”

Rabiya exhaled shakily. “I will. But Elara? Be careful. If this gets out, it won’t just ruin her.”

I closed my eyes, thinking everything over. It could ruin Theo as well.

When I hung up, my hands were trembling. I stared at the wall, my breath coming fast.

The ground under my feet felt unsteady. Everything I knew about Kaia had been a lie.

She was not who she seemed, and I had underestimated her.

And now? Kaia wasn’t just a threat to me. She was a ticking bomb.

My hands curled into fists.

“Damn it,” I whispered.

I kept pacing around the place, waiting for Rabiya to send me the proofs.

A little while later, my phone buzzed.

The moment Rabiya’s message came in, the picture of Kaia in full Silvermoon Luna attire, I didn’t even realise I was smiling.

A slow, vicious smile.

Finally, something solid.

Something that could destroy Theo’s precious little fantasy romance and rip Kaia straight out of his life.

My hands were still trembling as I dialled Lucien’s number.

It rang twice before he picked up, sounding annoyed.

“What? I’m in the middle of something.”

He didn’t bother with pleasantries. I knew he was still angry with me.

“Lucien,” I breathed, pacing the room. “You need to come home. Now.”

There was a pause.

“Why? Did Theo collapse again?” He asked sarcastically.

“No,” I said, my pulse racing. “Something better.”

His tone sharpened. “Better? What?”

I stopped pacing, staring at the open photo on my phone, Kaia smiling softly beside Draven, wearing the Silvermog mantle.

A sight I never expected.

“I got the perfect evidence,” I whispered, excitement bubbling beneath my ribs. “Not just to ruin Kaia

“but to finally get Theo for good.”

Silence on his end. Then, he coughed.

“Elara,” Lucien said slowly, “what did you find?”

I felt giddy as I answered.

“Proof of who Kaia really is.”

“What does that even mean?”

“She was a Luna before,” I said, savouring the words. “Draven’s Luna, Draven, the alpha of Silvermoon?. She was married before Theo. Bonded before Theo. She hid something this massive from everyone.”

Lucien cursed under his breath. “You’re joking.”

“I’m not,” I snapped. “I have the picture. I have witnesses. I have everything. Do you understand what this means?”

Lucien’s breathing shifted, quick and calculating.

“Elara… this could actually work.”

“It will,” I said. “If Theo marries a former Luna from a rival pack, it destroys his credibility. It destroys his position. It destroys him.”

“And Kaia,” Lucien added, his voice turning eager. “It destroys her, too.”

A thrill shot through me.

“Yes.”

Lucien exhaled. “Alright. I’m coming home.”

“Good,” I said, smiling darkly. “Because once you’re here, we’re going to make sure Kaia never recovers from this.”

I ended the call, staring once more at the photo that would end everything.

Finally, Kaia’s perfect little new life was about to collapse.

And I was going to enjoy every second of it.

I took a deep breath and returned to the party hall. When I got there, people were leaving.

I didn’t realise I had stayed out that long. But it was good, at least I wasn’t forced to watch Kaia pretend in front of Theo while lying to him.

I detest that whore, and I would make her wish she had never stepped a foot in the Shadowclaw pack

Chapter 164

Someone tapped my shoulder, and I turned around to see Cara behind me.

“I saw you leaving the party,” Cara said. “Did something happen?”

“No, Cara,” I said, smiling. “Something interesting just happened to me. I needed a quiet place, that was why I left”

“What interesting thing?” she wrinkled her brows. “Would you like to tell me?”

“Sure, but not here. There are too many people here,” I said and took her hand, leading her to my room.

When we got to my room, I closed the doors and told her everything.

She gasped; she was as shocked as I was.

“Elara, this is mind-blowing news”, Cara exclaimed, looking at my face.

I nodded, and a smile crept onto my lips, and she smiled viciously as well.

“I know, right?” I said, gleefully. “And when Lucien returns, we would strike when they least expected it. I promise you, Kaia won’t get away from our grasp this time”

Cara held my hands.

“I know, and I trust you completely. Destroy that whore, Kaia, for me,” she said, and I nodded.

“You don’t need to say anything; this is my battle as well. Kaia is as much my enemy as she is yours. Leave it to me”
