The Ultimate Litter: A Beast World System Tale novel Chapter 208

Chapter 208 Moonlight, Memories, and Jealous Hearts

One end of the wooden stick was burning. Zane blew the flame out gently, and white smoke curled into the air.

Sensing Marcus resisting, Zane finally showed the authority of a first mate. The pressure of a Level 2 fighter instantly wrapped around Marcus.

Marcus didn’t even have time to struggle. He let out a soft whine and lowered his head in surrender

The noisy cries of the younglings rang beside his cars. They were still little, but there were amply too many of them. The sound alone was enough to make his head ache.

“Fine, no more babies then!” Marcus grumbled. “If we get another litter like this, I’m going to lose my mi Besides, if we don’t have a second batch of cubs, I’ll get more time with Claire.

Zane only said they couldn’t have more babies. He never said Marcus couldn’t still fool around with Claire

The moment that thought crossed his mind, Marcus cheered up again. His thoughts slowly drifted back to the days he and Claire spent together in Grimstone.

Back then, winter storms raged outside every day. They stayed curled up indoors almost all the time.

Claire had always been soft and sweet. Even though Marcus couldn’t see her, every time he heard her whisper his name in that husky little voice, his whole body would go numb.

He still remembered one night clearly. Claire’s belly hadn’t started showing, and Marcus himself had still been inexperienced.

He reached out to touch her face, but accidentally brushed his fingers against her slightly parted lips.

Marcus had been about to pull his hand back when he suddenly felt her warm tongue curl around his fingers. Then came one soft lick after another.

His mind had gone completely blank.

That whole night, he and Claire lost themselves in each other and stayed tangled together for hours. For Marcus, nothing felt more unforgettable than being loved by Claire in the darkness.

The more he thought about it, the more drool slipped shamelessly from the panda’s mouth,

Zane glanced sideways at the sparkling trail of saliva and said helplessly, “You’re that hungry? Seriously?”

Marcus froze.

Only then did he realize the fur around his mouth was already wet. He quickly wiped it off with his paw and forced himself to sound calm.

“O-Of course I’m hungry! Try spending the whole day babysitting these little troublemakers. You’d be even hungrier than me!”

Let Zane misunderstand him.

There was no way Marcus could admit he was craving Claire, not food.

Soon, the little wild boars finished roasting. Its skin turned golden and crispy, and the rich smell of meat drifted through the air.

Zane tore off a thin strip of meat and handed it to the scarlet-gold fox cub already waiting with its mough

open.

In the blink of an eye, the meat disappeared.

The fox cub immediately opened its mouth again for more.

Marcus and Zane used their sharp claws to tear the roasted pork into small pieces while the younglings happily stuffed themselves.

After eating their fill and running around all day, the younglings quickly grew sleepy. One by one, they found cozy spots beside the giant panda and fell asleep.

Night deepened. The world grew quiet.

Beside the crackling campfire, the giant panda and the white wolf rested on opposite sides. Younglings hung all over the panda’s fluffy body, sleeping soundly. The white wolf lay calmly nearby, silver fur glowing softly in the firelight, his head resting on his front paws.

Marcus hesitated before asking softly, “Zane, are you asleep?”

Zane wasn’t asleep at all.

He stayed alert while thinking about Claire without meaning to.

He heard Marcus clearly, but he didn’t feel like answering. He kept his eyes shut and stayed perfectly still

Marcus stared up at the sky full of stars and sighed.

“Claire and Rufus are probably having a pretty intense night right now.”

Anyone could guess what was happening. The two of them were probably completely wrapped up in each other already.

The white wolf still kept his eyes closed as he replied calmly, “Why are you jealous? Back in Grimstone, you clung to Claire every single night. You think I’m not aware of this?”

Marcus snorted.

“I knew you were secretly listening!”

Then his panda eyes spun mischievously. He lowered his voice and asked, “Have you and Rufus ever. you know… mating with Claire at the same time?”

The white wolf’s narrow eyes snapped open, Sharp surprise filled his gaze:

At the same time?

We can do that?

Marcus’s words felt like they had opened the door to a whole new world for Zane. He lowered his voice and seriously began asking Marcus questions.

“So… if two males are together with one female… what postures did you need?”

Under the endless night sky, the two of them whispered quietly back and forth. Every now and then, they nodded in agreement together. At that moment, both of them felt their friendship had somehow grown

even stronger.

Meanwhile, beside the lake, Rufus gently laid the sleeping Claire down onto the soft grass after returning to human form.

The two of them had sat on the tree branch together watching the sunset. They stayed there from the glowing evening sky until the moon rose high above them. When Rufus looked downy, he realized Claire had fallen asleep.

Silver moonlight spilled across her face like a thin silk veil. Her long curled lashes cast tiny shadows beneath her eyes, making her look peaceful and beautiful.

She looked like a flower blooming quietly beneath the moonlight. Her sleeping face seemed to glow softly. The tension between her brows had long disappeared, gentle and calm. Rufus couldn’t resist leaning down and placing a soft kiss on her smooth forehead.
