Altair leaned in out of curiosity to take a look for himself, and the longer he studied it, the more his expression shifted into open astonishment.

That’s a slide. If you build it like this and connect it between all the different tree houses, everyone could just shide straight down to the ground. Grown beastfolk probably wouldn’t need it much, but the younglings would love it.”

Claire had come up with the idea after watching the younglings slide down Marcus’s back for fun.

“Go ahead and ask. If it’s something I can manage, I won’t hold back.”

Once the tree house is finished, would you be willing to give me this drawing? I want to study it properly and use it to improve my own tree house too. The rest of the clan would probably love something like this as well. Do you think we could build the rest of the clan’s homes based on this design?”
