Chapter 339 Big Rabbit
Kieran shook his head.
“No one knows.”
Florshed
Landon stared at Claire in disbelief. She had just given birth, yet she actually appeared on the battlefield!.
How could she be this strong?
Then he heard Claire ask, “Kieran, have Marcus and Davy come back?”
Her eyes moved anxiously between Kieran and Landon. Neither of them answered. Their expressions were/ grim
Claire’s heart sank. A terrible feeling washed over her. Still refusing to accept it, she grabbed Kieran’s fur tunic.
“Kieran, after the beast swarm ended, didn’t you send people to look for them?”
“I did. I personally led the search, but I only found Landon.”
Kieran couldn’t meet Claire’s eyes. He had promised her himself that he would bring Marcus and Davy back, but now he had lost them.
He knew better than anyone how terrifying a beast swarm was.
Even if those two beastfolk were both Level 3, they still couldn’t withstand a horde of crazed beasts.
There had been thousands of savage beasts!
Claire turned to Landon. Looking guilty, he explained, “I was being chased by several savage beasts at that time. I didn’t have the chance to see where they went. By the time I met up with Kieran and rushed back together, all that was left were the bodies of the savage beasts…”
Landon was only Level 2, and one of his arms had already been injured. The fact that he’d survived the beast swarm was already remarkable.
Claire understood that.
But she couldn’t stop herself from wondering. If she hadn’t sent Marcus and Davy into the beast swarm to draw the monsters away, or if she’d ordered them to retreat sooner, maybe none of this would’ve happened.
‘Claire didn’t think of herself as some saint. Between the eagle clan and her beast mates, she would choose her beast mates without hesitation.
Even if the beast swarm had reached the clan, it didn’t mean many beastfolk would have died.
But now, everything had already happened. It was too late to blame anyone.
Claire gripped Zane’s arm so tightly that her fingernails dug into his skin. She pleaded. “Zane, let’s go. Hurry!”

Chapter 339 Big Rabbit
She had to search the area herself. Even finding the smallest clue would be better than standing here drowning in regret.
Without a word. Zane transformed into an enormous white wolf.
Finished
He carefully settled Claire onto his back. His long tail curled protectively along her side. Then he shot forward like a streak of lightning.
Along the way, Claire forced herself to stay calm as she searched every inch of the path.
She wished she had two heads, one to search the left and one to search the right..
Savage beast corpses littered the ground all along the route. Only when they neared the place where Marcus and Davy had made their stand did Claire finally spot a figure that was still moving.
A white figure was slowly dragging something across the ground.
“Zane! Over there! There’s someone alive!”
Zane immediately sprinted toward them.
As they drew closer, Claire finally saw clearly that the white figure was actually a huge rabbit.
“Burrow?”
Zane called out in confusion.
Claire had never seen Burrow’s beast form before. She only knew that, like Eva, he was a rabbit beastfolk.
This enormous snow-white rabbit, standing as tall as a one-story building, was actually Burrow’s beast form!
Hearing the voice, the white rabbit turned around. Once he saw the white wolf and Claire on the wolf’s back, his tense nerves instantly relaxed. In the blink of an eye, he transformed back into his human form.
As his massive body changed, Claire immediately saw the person lying on the tree branches behind him.
“Marcus!”
Marcus was covered in blood from head to toe. She couldn’t tell whether it belonged to him or the savage beast. The white gauze over his eyes was still tied securely, without slipping even a little.
It seemed that he had still remembered her reminder even in the middle of battle.
Claire’s nose stung. She immediately jumped off Zane’s back and rushed toward Marcus.
She checked the pulse in his neck. It was still beating. Tears of joy instantly filled her eyes.
Claire lifted Marcus into her arms, unable to stop her tears.
“Marcus, wake up!”
The moment her hand touched his back, she felt nothing but blood.
When she turned him over, she saw a terrifying wound stretched across his entire back, running from his
