The Ultimate Litter A Beast World System Tale
Chapter 340 Flesh-Regeneration Powder
Burrow felt a flicker of embarrassment and scratched his head.
“Tsk!”
A tearing pain shot through his palm.
Finished
Only then did he notice both his hands were covered in bloody cuts. His hair had brushed against them. stinging on contact.
Claire had Zane settle Marcus on his back, then walked toward Burrow.
She studied his palms and sprinkled leftover powder from Marcus’ treatment onto Burrow’s hands.
Her careful focus made Burrow hold his breath too, afraid he’d throw off her concentration.
Burrow lowered his head, watching this immortal-like woman tend his wounds. Tear tracks still traced her face, leaving her looking fragile enough to ache over, yet somehow unbelievably gentle still.
His mood lifted in a way he couldn’t quite describe.
Claire finished dusting hemostatic powder over his hands quickly, then swung onto Zane’s back, settling in behind Marcus to keep him steady.
“Burrow, thank you for saving Mareus. This is urgent, so we need to get him to the doctor first. Kieran and Landon will be here soon. Wait here for now.”
With those instructions given, Claire urged Zane forward without delay.
Marcus’ injury ran severe. They needed Corvin to treat and stitch it as fast as possible.
Though her space held better medicinal powder, Claire wasn’t especially skilled at stitching wounds herself.
Burrow watched them go, then looked down at the medicinal powder still coating his hands. Whether it was the powder’s scent or something lingering from Claire’s touch, he couldn’t tell, but his palms kept carrying a faint, refreshing sweetness.
In the distance, the white wolf crossed paths with Kieran, one running along the ground while the other flew low overhead.
Spotting Marcus on the wolf’s back, Kieran let out a breath of relief, some of his guilt easing.
‘By the time Marcus reached Corvin’s tree house, the beastfolk there had already had their wounds bandaged and headed home.
Word that the beast outbreak had retreated had already spread through every corner of the clan.
On the way back, Claire and the others caught bursts of joyful laughter drifting around them, along with the odd how! from younglings. Everything had settled back into its old lively rhythm.
Claire felt a measure of comfort at that. At least these beastfolk had survived

Marcus too. However frightening he looked, she believed he’d pull through.
But Davy…
Claire sighed and moved closer to Corvin, both of them studying Marcus laid out on the bed.
Finished
Marcus lay on his stomach. The wound across his back had already been rinsed clean with water. Corvin had mashed together some medicinal paste and applied it. Turning around, he spotted Claire sprinkling white powder over the wound.
He asked, puzzled, “What’s that white powder? Have you studied healing?”
Claire nodded, offering only a brief answer. “I trained a while under our clan’s doctor before. This helps wounds heal faster.”
This particular powder came straight from her space. Called flesh regeneration powder, it accelerated flesh and blood regrowth, carrying the near miraculous ability to pull someone back from death’s edge and regenerate bone and tissue.
None of those details felt safe to share with Corvin, so Claire left it at that and said nothing more.
Corvin studied her a moment but didn’t press further. He pulled out a bone needle and catgut, beginning the stitching.
His technique was precise, every stitch calm and steady without a single tremor. Claire, merely standing by watching, felt as though every needle pierced her own skin instead.
Corvin finished stitching quickly and rinsed his hands in the nearby basin.
Claire eyed the knotted catgut thread, surprised. “You actually have something like this here!”
Catgut used in stitching would eventually merge into the surrounding flesh and skin, sparing the patient the pain of having stitches removed later.
Corvin dried his hands, those slender, distinctive fingers turning clean and flawless again.
He said, “A previous doctor taught me this. According to him, Wanda taught it to him first, and it’s been passed down ever since.”
Claire nodded. That explains it.
Still, Wanda really had been unstoppable. Gunpowder and catgut both, apparently. Claire herself would never have managed either.
“Wanda was just too capable. Honestly a role model for people like me,” Claire murmured under her breath.
Corvin didn’t quite catch it and asked, “What was that?”
Claire smiled to cover it. “Nothing.”
Zane carried Marcus back to the tree house. Claire settled him onto the bed, then dripped a bit of spring water onto his cracked lips.
space. The instant it touched Marcus lips, color visibly returned to them. His lips
