“Yes, I’m still here. For one thing, I promised to pass word about Lucia, and for another, there’s something I wanted to ask you.”

Eva blinked those big, adorable eyes at her.

Claire glanced at Neve and the other two standing behind Eva, since it was best not to let too many beastfol in on this. There was no telling what kind of fallout it might cause.

Neve took the hint right away and pulled the others along with her. “Eva, we’re heading home. Just remember, tomorrow you have to tell me all about what bonding feels like!”
