The Wife He Forgot to Marry (Winona and Yule) novel Chapter 645

Winona thought about Dean Ziegler's recent complaints—how Giselle had been too busy having fun to focus on her work.

An idea formed in her mind. "If we let her ego inflate until she thinks she's untouchable, wouldn't the person hiding behind her get worried that she's spinning out of control and show themselves?"

Wynne caught on immediately. "I know exactly what to do."

The next day at lunch, Giselle casually asked Wynne, "Mom, you had an upset stomach after drinking that soup yesterday. Did you and Winona feel unwell too?"

"We were fine," Wynne replied with feigned concern. "But if your stomach is bothering you, I can take you to the doctor?"

Realizing Winona was perfectly fine after consuming the soup, a huge weight lifted off Giselle's chest. So, she isn't pregnant after all.

"I felt better this morning. No need for the hospital."

Wynne offered a few more words of comfort before shifting her tone. "Giselle, after we eat, I need to talk to you."

Seeing the serious look on her face, Giselle wondered what this was about.

Wynne went to her room and brought out a document.

Sitting on the sofa, she said, "Your birthday is on the fifth of next month. I'm planning to throw a massive party for you. At the party, I will transfer all my shares in five different companies directly to your name as a birthday gift. This is the wealth my parents left me. As my daughter, it's only natural that you inherit it."

Hearing this, Giselle's hands trembled with excitement.

"Are you serious? You're giving me your shares? Not leaving them for my brother and Ophelia?" she asked, wide-eyed.

Hearing about the upcoming party, Sylvan eagerly volunteered to handle all the arrangements, hoping to score points with Wynne.

Since he was willing to put in the money and effort, Wynne didn't object and handed the reigns over to him.

Seeing this as the perfect opportunity to show off, Sylvan took it incredibly seriously. He hired the best event planning team and presented three different proposals.

Wynne repeatedly criticized him right in front of Giselle. "These ideas are tacky and cheap! This is my daughter's first birthday party since coming home. Are you even trying? Sylvan, even if we threw a royal-level bash, I'd still feel it wasn't enough for her."

"If you actually cared about this child, you wouldn't be so cheap! Besides, I plan to pick out a fiancé for her at this party. If the scale isn't grand enough, people will look down on her. Do you understand what you need to do now?"
