The Wife He Forgot to Marry (Winona and Yule) novel Chapter 729

On Friday morning, Winona took some time off to attend Greta's parent-teacher conference.

Traffic near the school was a nightmare, so she arrived five minutes late.

Finding Greta, she quickly apologized.

Greta didn't mind at all. She pointed to the other parents and said, "It's okay, Winona! A lot of parents are running late today."

Only then did Winona notice that more than half the parents hadn't shown up yet.

After signing them in, the teacher announced, "Please wait a moment if you've already arrived. We have bottles of water available in the room."

Winona and Greta grabbed some water and took their seats.

The conference was held in a massive multimedia room with four different classes attending together.

Probably due to the traffic, many seats were still empty.

Greta tugged on her hand and asked, "Winona, there's a sports day in three months. Will you come?"

Thinking about how her baby bump would be very noticeable by then, Winona figured attending a sports event wouldn't be very convenient.

But Helena Jowett's salon had been booming lately, so she likely wouldn't have time either. She thought for a second and said, "I'll ask Stefan when the time comes and see if he's free."

Greta beamed. "Yay!"

Ever since she was bullied and Stefan stepped in to help her, Greta had remembered his kindness and genuinely looked up to him like a big brother.

As Winona listened to Greta chatter about the upcoming sports day, she suddenly caught sight of a familiar figure out of the corner of her eye.

It was Yulen Locke.

He was holding the hand of his nephew, Seth Stockton, walking to a seat not far away.

Winona retracted her gaze, pretending she hadn't seen him.

Yulen noticed her, too. His eyes locked onto her and didn't move.
