In the past, Winona had always been impossibly slender, carrying an ethereal, untouchable elegance.
Now, dressed in loose, casual clothes, she was noticeably curvier. While her face remained stunning, she lacked that razor-thin delicacy she used to have.
Yulen's first instinct was cynical. If she was letting herself go, would Stefan even still want her?
A dark, twisted part of him secretly hoped Stefan would be disgusted and dump her.
Tallulah, on the other hand, was internally gloating.
*Finally,* she thought. *She's getting fat and ugly.*
Surely Yulen would lose interest in a woman who looked like that.
Ignoring them entirely, Winona joined the staff to help distribute the treats she had brought for the children.
Tallulah had brought snacks as well, but it was painfully obvious the kids vastly preferred Winona's warm, gentle presence. They flocked to her, chattering excitedly.
Tallulah seethed, glaring at the little kids. *Little brats have zero taste.*
She was obviously so much prettier than Winona now.
Suddenly, her eyes darted toward the boxes of snacks, and a wicked idea took root.
For the rest of the afternoon, Winona happily sat with the kids, drawing pictures, chatting, and playing games.
By five o'clock, the event was winding down.
Without warning, two children collapsed to the ground, clutching their stomachs and sobbing.
Within minutes, four more kids dropped, crying out in agony.
