As he walked out, he kept his head down, methodically toweling his wet dark hair. The lines of his arms were smooth, his forearms tightly muscled, and his wrist bones sharply defined.
His physical appearance was outstanding. He possessed a sharp bone structure perfectly overlaid with lean muscle—not the exaggerated bulk of intentional bodybuilding, but an innate, superior frame blended with the mature sex appeal of an adult man.
As he walked past her, a wave of lazy yet domineering pheromones washed over her, carrying the rich scent of body wash.
Natalie watched him sit on the hotel's single lounge chair, his legs casually spread apart. He picked up his phone and dialed back while continuing to dry his hair.
The moment the call connected, before the man could speak, Natalie called out, "Honey, why aren't you wearing any clothes?" She did it on purpose.
Hassan stared at her in silence, his damp hair making his eyes look even darker and deeper.
On the other end of the line, there was a pause before the voice spoke up. "Hassan? Where are you? Did Natalie come to Mothria Country too?"
He gave a noncommittal hum. "Yeah. She's here on vacation. We just bumped into each other."
Gardenia sounded surprised. "What a coincidence. She didn't follow us here on purpose, did she? It's not like we're here for fun; we're here for actual business."
Natalie heard every word clearly.
Her temper couldn't tolerate it. She marched over and snatched his phone away. "You're the only ones with actual business? Looks to me like your 'actual business' is having an affair."
"You!" Gardenia snapped. "I won't say another word to you. There's no reasoning with someone like you. Give the phone back to Hassan."
"Calling him Hassan so easily, yet you claim you're not the other woman. Oh, by the way, did you know he made your kid call me Mom?"
"Natalie!" The man stood up and took the phone back. "I have things to discuss with her. I'm hanging up."
The call ended. He looked down at the woman sitting at the foot of the bed, leaning back on her hands and shooting him a provocative glare. Tossing his phone onto the sofa, he said in a low voice, "Since you're here, enjoy your vacation."
"I was planning to enjoy it, but why did you have to be here?"
"Natalie, I won't be staying in your room for long. I'm not here for fun." He stepped closer to her, his gaze dropping to her lower abdomen. "Has your injury healed?"
She paused. "You don't have to pretend to care about me."
"Did you bring your medication?" he asked, ignoring her remark.
