The front row of the symposium was reserved for renowned individuals, complete with leather-bound conference manuals, customized fountain pens, and nameplates.

Trenton Yates and Adler were seated in the front row, just like Hassan and his group.

When Natalie had asked Professor Adler for the invitation, she hadn't utilized her status, so she was seated in the very back row alongside media personnel like Cora, placed firmly at the bottom of the hierarchy.

The seating arrangement didn't matter to her. She could hear just fine from anywhere.

However, her gaze drifted to Gardenia beside Hassan. Gardenia's current status didn't qualify her for a front-row seat at all. Looking at the other members of the core project team, they were all seated toward the middle and back. Gardenia was the only one placed right next to him.

He truly was spoiling her in the most blatant way possible.

She retracted her gaze, pulling out her phone to see a message Hassan had sent three minutes ago.

[Where are you sitting?]

She locked her screen and didn't reply.

A man was trying to squeeze past her, so she pulled her feet back, looking up to get a glance at him.

The man was blonde, his hair slightly long and pulled back into a small bun. He wore a vest and gave off the refined aura of a classic blonde-haired, blue-eyed gentleman.

As she looked at him, she felt a vague sense of familiarity. Perhaps he looked like a movie star she couldn't quite place.

After passing her, the man sat down in the seat right next to hers.

She directed her gaze back to the stage, no longer paying him any mind.

Not long after, the organizing committee chairman gave an opening speech that lasted about thirty minutes.

This was followed by keynote speeches from top scholars and industry titans.

Once the speeches ended, everyone began to freely exchange ideas, hand out business cards, and discuss collaborations or academic projects. She sat and listened to the conversations around her.

She kept her own thoughts private. During the break, a few people approached her to chat, but none of them were genuine.

They only asked about her personal life, obviously trying to hit on her. They probably assumed she was just eye candy looking to score a rich husband.
