Just as Suzie reached for the tray, Oliver was already walking into the room with it.

“Don’t just stand there, come and eat. My cooking skills are just average, so you’ll have to make do for now. After breakfast, I’ll go find a cook for you,” he said as he walked.

Suzie felt a pang of guilt but didn't know what to say. As she sat down, Oliver thoughtfully ladled the soup into a bowl and placed it in front of her. “Did you sleep well last night?”

Suzie nodded. “Yes, very soundly. Oliver, thank you.”

“Hey, I told you not to be so polite. I’m sure that if it were any of us—you, me, or Stella—who needed help, the others would jump in without a second thought.”

Oliver’s words made Suzie feel a little more at ease. She took small bites of her food, her mind turning to a question that had been nagging her for a while.

When she was nearly finished eating, she asked directly, “Oliver, can I ask you something? Do you remember Josie? Back then, she told me that you were the one who got her into Lumina Studio. Is that…”

Oliver slowly set down his silverware and replied gently, “Suzie, I’m sorry. I kept some things from you. The truth is, I’m one of the shareholders of Lumina Studio…”

After hearing Oliver's explanation, everything finally clicked into place for Suzie.

“Also, the day you had the accident at the swimming pool, I happened to have left my phone in the car while I was at the hospital dealing with my mother’s situation.
