Jamie got into the car, leaning back lazily in the rear seat, and asked calmly,

"What do you make of it?"

Aaron got in as well. Gripping the steering wheel, he frowned, taking a moment to carefully organize his thoughts.

A moment later, he respectfully replied,

"Mr. Baylor, there are things I've wanted to say for a long time, but..."

"Speak," Jamie ordered simply.

Aaron twisted his torso to face Jamie.

"Mr. Baylor, what I'm about to say might be harsh, so please..."

Before Aaron could finish, Jamie narrowed his eyes, silently chastising him for dawdling.

Aaron swallowed hard and went straight to the point.

"Mr. Baylor, don't you think Margaret treats Ms. Sterling completely differently from her twins? I haven't seen them interact much, but that time by the road, Margaret slapped her so viciously... Her own daughter is fully grown, and yet she..."

Aaron paused before continuing,

"Also, a few years ago, Margaret took a bunch of valuable things from the Baylor Manor, pocketed the massive marriage settlement meant for Ms. Sterling, and took the bank card you gave her... When I looked into it, she spent all that money on the twins. You could say that sending those two kids abroad for school was entirely funded by exploiting Ms. Sterling."

After a long pause, Jamie finally spoke.

"Over the next few days, make frequent trips to the hospital. See what you can get out of Stewart. Be subtle about it, but find out exactly why Suzie refuses to see her family."

"Yes, Mr. Baylor," Aaron replied respectfully. Suddenly remembering the lawsuit, he asked with concern,

"Are you... sure Ms. Sterling won't mention the lawsuit to Hayden Wycliffe?"

Aaron had asked tentatively, but when Jamie didn't reply, he feared his boss was growing impatient and quickly added,

"While looking into Hayden's background recently, I got some new information today. He's the son of Caden Wycliffe, one of the top ten wealthiest men around. Back in the day, his parents and yours were practically on par in the business world. His family's backing is immense. He grew up in a very privileged environment, and before starting this studio, he was a vice president in his family's enterprise. So... he definitely knows his way around."
