Jamie played with the lighter in his hand, his deep eyes glinting sharply. He said slowly,

"The fact that Suzie came to see me alone proves she won't tell Hayden."

Aaron nodded, speaking hesitantly,

"Mr. Baylor, if you really want to win Ms. Sterling back, you must be patient. Seeing her again today, I feel like she's a completely different person from before. Today... I was really worried you'd..."

Jamie asked coldly, "Worried I'd what?"
