"Who would've thought Mr. Haberkorn is quite the charmer."
Noelle pushed Hunter back slightly, keeping a small distance. "One look was all it took for Ms. Quinn to fall head over heels. Your charm is really something else."
Instead of getting annoyed, Hunter looked a bit pleased with himself. He was always getting jealous because of her, and now he finally had a chance to make her jealous in return.
He slipped an arm around Noelle again. "The only Ms. Quinn I love is the one right in front of me. The rest don't interest me at all."
Noelle chuckled. Ever since Hunter officially became her boyfriend, he'd become such a smooth talker.
Soon, the banquet officially began.
As head of the family, Raphael also came downstairs to attend the family banquet.
When he saw Noelle, he froze for a moment. She bore a slight resemblance to his sister-in-law, Karissa, but on closer inspection, she was entirely different. Standing there, she reminded him of Karissa.
"Mr. Raphael."
Hunter's voice cut through his thoughts. "This is my fiancee, Noelle Quinn."
Raphael shook himself from his daze and refocused on Noelle. He sighed lightly. "Ms. Noelle, I've heard you're an outstanding racer. You're truly exceptional, and in some ways, you remind me of an old acquaintance."
Noelle smiled faintly. "This old acquaintance of yours must be about your age, right? If there's a chance, I'd love to meet them and see just how similar we are."
When she smiled, her resemblance to Karissa grew even stronger.
Raphael's mouth opened slightly before he returned her smile. "We'll talk about it if the chance arises!"
Karissa and Edwin had been gone for over ten years. No one wanted to find them more than Raphael. If the vast fortune they had taken could be returned, the Quinn family could shine for another century.
At that thought, a flicker of ferocity appeared in Raphael's eyes.
"Ma'am, what are you doing here!"
Starry's eyes lit up when he saw Noelle.
Simon's gaze carried caution as he looked at his mischievous younger brother. "How do you know Ms. Noelle?"
Starry panicked instantly. He couldn't let Simon know he had been driving the sports car around and causing trouble.
Fortunately, Noelle spoke up just in time. "He came to the circuit to watch our races and our training sessions before. He seems quite interested in racing, so we chatted a bit."
Finally, Hunter's patience ran out, and he looked at Sarah. "Ms. Sarah, I was kicked out of the Haberkorn family as a child. My dad didn't care about me, my mom didn't love me, and the family gave me no resources. I haven't achieved much in my career. Even now, it's my girlfriend who races to support me."
He pulled Noelle close and kissed her on the cheek. "Honey, thank you for everything you've done for me."
Noelle wiped her lips and glanced at Sarah's twisted expression, barely holding back a laugh.
Hunter stood. "My girlfriend can't stay up late. I'm taking her back to rest. Mr. Raphael, Mr. Simon, please continue. My elder brother, Liam, is a man worth entrusting your future to. Noelle and I will be leaving."
With that, he took Noelle's hand and left.
Sarah wanted to call after him, but Raphael's warning glance silenced her immediately.
She felt wronged. She hadn't said anything about switching. Why did her father have to glare at her like that?
Liam stood at the right moment. "Mr. Raphael, I'll see them out."
Raphael finally smiled. "Thank you, Liam."
Once Liam stepped out, Sarah said unhappily, "Dad, I don't want to be with Liam!"
