"Arthur, could you go and beg Ms. Quinn to return? Ask her to do it for everyone's sake and compete in tomorrow's race. Today's performance was already bad enough. If we keep this up tomorrow, we won't even last two more races before getting eliminated."

Arthur's expression was grim. He swept his gaze over everyone. "I've already gone to see Ms. Quinn. The reason she didn't participate in today's qualifying round wasn't that she was throwing a tantrum, nor was it because she wanted to watch everyone make a fool of themselves."

His eyes reddened. "She truly had reasons that made it impossible for her to compete. I hope all of you will trust Ms. Quinn and me.
