Unloved Unwanted Unstoppable (Seraphina and Dominic) novel Chapter 105

Dominic's eyes lingered on the screen for a moment.

The icy tension that had gripped his face all night finally showed a hint of softening.

The corners of his lips curved up slightly. "Excellent. Thank you, Cynthia. Keep in close contact with Mr. Vance and find out exactly what we need to prepare. We're going to give this our absolute all."

Cynthia gave a warm, modest smile. "Don't worry, leave it to me."

She pulled her phone back, the triumphant smirk never leaving her lips.

Dominic gripped the steering wheel, his gaze fixed on the road ahead as the car merged into the flowing night traffic.

Meanwhile, Seraphina followed Julian around the corner to the main entrance, where Victor Vane was waiting for them.

The older man looked her up and down, seemingly verifying that she was in one piece before finally relaxing his gaze.

"Let's go. We'll drop you off at home."

Seraphina walked beside them as they headed toward the parking lot.

Once the car pulled onto the main road, the warm air from the heater filled the cabin. Seraphina leaned back against the seat, her eyelids growing heavy.

Victor, sitting in the back row, suddenly spoke up. "I remember Dominic not being like that in the past."

Seraphina's eyelashes fluttered. She opened her eyes but remained silent.

"When he came to the university to give that guest lecture years ago, he was articulate, and his questions were highly professional," Victor noted calmly. "I haven't seen him in a few years, and the man has completely changed."

His gaze shifted to the streetlights blurring past the window.

"Seraphina, if you're divorcing him, I support you completely."

Seraphina felt a sudden warmth prick the back of her eyes.

"Thank you, Professor Vane."

From the passenger seat up front, Julian glanced at her through the rearview mirror and tactfully changed the subject.

"By the way, Seraphina, there's something I need to show you."

Seraphina sniffled quietly. "What is it?"

Back in college, she had obsessively studied K Corporation's technological pathways. She had read their research papers countless times and deconstructed every single public patent they held.

She used to stare at their technical parameters on her screen all night long, painfully aware of the massive gap between her own work and their world-class tier.

But now, Julian was telling her that K Corporation was actively seeking global partners.

Her eyes lit up with excitement.

"If K Corporation is really open to negotiations, we need to prepare immediately. Our technical foundation is incredibly solid; the key is figuring out how to accurately pitch our advantages to them. I can start by compiling an analysis of their technological trajectory and partnership case studies over the last two years..."

As she spoke, she was already reaching down for her tablet resting near her feet.

Julian instantly frowned.

"Hey, hey, hey—what do you think you're doing?"

He twisted around in his seat, snatched the tablet right out of her hands, and tossed it onto the passenger seat.

"I knew I shouldn't have shown this to you so soon."
