Unloved Unwanted Unstoppable (Seraphina and Dominic) novel Chapter 177

"The Carter family no longer has any reason to exist. Throw her out."

Myles stepped forward and snatched the check right out of Nadia's hand. He waved, and two guards hauled her up by her arms.

Limp as a ragdoll, she couldn't even form a sentence with her trembling lips as they dragged her out.

With Cynthia and Nadia handled, all that was left was the manager kneeling on the floor.

He groveled on the ground.

"Mr. Cole... it was me... I accidentally gave Nadia those drugs, and I accidentally... switched the wrong video feed... It's all my fault... I will accept any punishment..."

By the end, he was practically bawling.

Gideon picked up his teacup and took a slow sip, his eyes lowered.

Myles immediately signaled for him to be dragged away too.

"As of today, he is fired from Cole's and is banned from setting foot in Northport ever again. Any company in the industry that hires him will be declaring war on The Cole Group."

Looking like a dead man, the manager let the security team drag him off.

The banquet slowly resumed its rhythm. People took their seats, and the sounds of conversation and laughter gradually drifted back through the room.

Seraphina watched it all with a frosty gaze, her hands trembling slightly beneath the table.

She glanced at the empty seat across from her, then looked over at Dominic.

Dominic was leaning slightly, murmuring something to Cynthia. His expression was cold, devoid of any visible emotion.

A suffocating tightness gripped Seraphina's chest, refusing to fade.

For a wicked woman like Cynthia, he casually threw away a multibillion-dollar project.

Yet her brother's life was almost ruined, and all he got was a flimsy excuse of a "misunderstanding."

She clenched her fists and left the table.

The restroom was dead silent.

She leaned against the sink, pulling up the recovered security footage on her phone. Her fingers flew across the screen.

The audio track was quickly extracted, and every single sound came through perfectly.

Just as she thought—Cynthia orchestrated the entire thing!

She gripped her phone tightly.

She had barely taken a few steps when a door nearby opened.

Gideon stepped out, his bespoke black suit accentuating his tall, lean frame. His gaze landed on her, and his lips curved into a faint smile. It looked like a chance encounter, yet it felt as if he had been waiting there for a while.

Seraphina paused, giving him a polite nod.

He said nothing, simply gesturing for her to go first. He followed closely behind, keeping a two-step distance until they returned to the banquet hall.

Back at his seat, Dominic glanced down at his phone. Seeing the message, his brows snapped together.

He immediately looked around the room but noticed nothing out of the ordinary.

His grip on the phone tightened until his knuckles turned white.

There was a hacker in this room.

Someone who could recover deleted security footage, restore the audio, and send it directly to his private number.

Who could this expert be?

In the entire venue, Gideon's team seemed the most likely candidates.

Even though a multibillion-dollar project had stopped Gideon from revealing the results.
