Gideon still wanted to send a warning, telling him not to stir up any more trouble.
Ruthless and obsessed with absolute control—that was exactly Gideon's style.
Clearly, he was warning him to stay away from Zach!
He took a deep breath. Without looking up, he clenched his fist and casually exited the page.
Sitting beside him, Cynthia noticed his subtle hesitation and leaned over, trying to sneak a peek at his screen.
But Dominic had already placed the phone facedown on the table, his expression completely normal.
Having spent so many years with him, Cynthia knew him too well. He was hiding something from her.
Her heart sank. She tightened her fists, keeping up her cool and indifferent facade, though her nails dug fiercely into her skin.
She was never letting go.
She had finally made her way back to his side, and no one was going to drag her down.
Today's mistake had to end here and now!
At that moment, Gideon took his seat at the center table and accepted a microphone from Myles.
The chatter in the hall slowly died down as all eyes turned back to the stage.
His tone was calm but intensely serious.
"Regardless of what happened today, Zach was wronged. As the host and his partner, I offer him my apologies. I will personally invest hundreds of millions of dollars into Sinclair Microtech."
"Consider it my personal stake in his company."
The crowd absolutely exploded at his words.
Gideon had said "personally," not under Cole's.
This meant the money was coming straight out of his own pocket. No equity dilution, no performance clauses—just pure cash handed directly to Zach.
Seraphina froze, looking up at Gideon in shock.
Gideon turned his head, his expression softening as he met her gaze.
"Just a little show of good faith to my partner."
Seraphina snapped back to reality and looked at her brother.
Zach's face was flushed red, completely overwhelmed.
She placed her hand over his.
"Zach, take it."
His plant desperately needed the capital.
He could tell the suit was incredibly expensive.
Seraphina chuckled. "As long as it looks good on you, that's all that matters."
Zach pressed, "Give me a number. I'll transfer it to you."
"No." Seraphina shook her head. "That was your contract-signing gift."
Zach stared at her for a long moment before giving up. He simply reached out and patted her shoulder.
"Come on, let's go home."
They said their goodbyes, and Seraphina headed back to her small apartment.
She slipped into her slippers and curled up on the couch, finally letting her guard down.
Pulling out her phone, she was about to scroll through some videos when a notification popped up.
A bank deposit notification. Hundreds of millions of dollars.
The sender was Zach.
She froze for a second, exited the app, and opened her messages.
Zach had already texted her: "Seraphina, I'm splitting the investment with you. Take it."
