Unloved Unwanted Unstoppable (Seraphina and Dominic) novel Chapter 182

When Seraphina heard the news, she sat in silence for a long time.

Tristan was ruthless, but Caleb had it coming.

If they hadn't crossed paths that day, Vivian would have died in that ravine.

In the Ross family's living room, Caleb sobbed uncontrollably the moment he saw Cynthia.

"Cynthia, I'm ruined. I'm a cripple."

Cynthia crouched down and hugged him, her hands shaking violently.

A suffocating wave of regret washed over her. She never should have provoked the Spencers.

At The Cole Group Business Gala, she had seen the footage of Tristan and Vivian helping Seraphina drag Zachary out of danger.

She hated the Spencers for ruining her flawless scheme.

Blinded by spite, she had bitterly complained about the Spencers in front of her brother.

Caleb had always been fiercely protective of her. Hearing that his new girlfriend's best friend was the Spencer heiress, and knowing they were heading into the mountains, he hatched his sinister plan.

It was the deep wilderness—isolated and devoid of security cameras. Vivian could have died out there, and no one would have been the wiser.

But neither of them anticipated that the Spencers would uncover the truth in less than twenty-four hours.

The night Caleb was abducted, the Ross family exhausted every connection they had, yet couldn't find a single trace of him.

Driven into a corner, Cynthia sought out Dominic.

Hearing the whole story, Dominic's brow furrowed into a tight knot.

The Spencer family's power rivaled his own, and Tristan was a childhood friend he'd grown up with.

Tristan was notoriously protective of his sister. Now that Vivian had suffered such severe trauma, Caleb had completely crossed Tristan's bottom line.

Cynthia stood before him, her face streaked with tears.

"Dominic, I know Caleb made a terrible mistake, but he's still so young. His whole life can't be destroyed like this. Please, help me just this once."

Seeing her so broken, Dominic's heart softened completely.

Even Dominic had to tread carefully around him, yet she had willingly painted a target on her own back.

All of this.

It was all Seraphina's fault!

Staring out the window at the darkening sky, the regret in Cynthia's eyes hardened into a frigid, venomous glare.

She would make Seraphina pay for this.

Seraphina, of course, was oblivious to the swirling drama.

With Clara's new shop set to officially open, Seraphina headed to a high-end bakery to order a custom cake for her mother's grand opening.

Just as she walked in, she bumped into Tristan, who was picking up some pastries for his sister.

"Is Vivian doing better?" Seraphina asked.

Tristan's expression softened into a warm smile. "She's alright. The doctors said because you treated her immediately on the mountain, she not only survived, but she gets to keep her leg."
