Unloved Unwanted Unstoppable (Seraphina and Dominic) novel Chapter 184

Tristan also chimed in, urging Clara to accept the generous gift.

Zachary stood off to the side, opening his mouth to speak but ultimately glancing toward Seraphina for guidance.

Seraphina stepped forward and gracefully accepted the physical gifts, but firmly handed the bank card back to Mr. Spencer.

"The gifts are more than enough. Accepting this would change the nature of what we did."

Seeing the absolute resolve in Seraphina's eyes, Vivian's parents finally relented.

And while the two families were busy exchanging polite pleasantries...

Vivian had already hobbled her way over to Zachary's side.

She looked up at him, her voice dripping with a playful, coquettish charm.

"Zachary, aren't you going to help me to a seat?"

The tips of Zachary's ears flushed crimson. He glanced at her, then awkwardly at the private nurse standing right next to her.

"Don't you already have someone to help you?"

"Sure, she can help," Vivian declared with absolute confidence. "But who carried me all the way down the mountain that day? You held me the entire time. You've already carried me, so what's the big deal with just holding my arm now?"

Zachary's ears turned a brilliant shade of red. He gave a low, muffled grunt of agreement and hesitantly offered his arm to support her.

Ever since that grueling trek down the mountain, Vivian had relentlessly hounded him for his contact info, shamelessly flirting with him every single day.

This girl was a vibrant, fiery force of nature, and Zachary was completely out of his depth.

Tristan frowned from the sidelines. He was just about to intervene when his mother subtly tugged at his sleeve, giving him a faint shake of her head while suppressing a knowing smile.

Seraphina took in the scene, a fond smile touching her own lips.

Vivian's bold, unfiltered nature actually reminded her a lot of Chelsea Sterling.

She glanced at her brother's rigid back, then at the radiant, undeniable joy plastered across Vivian's face.

So that was the game this girl was playing.

Her brother was stoic and introverted, while Vivian was a burst of relentless sunshine. They were perfect opposites.

"Makes perfect sense to me! Let's go with that."

Utterly powerless against Vivian's stubbornness, Zachary found himself dragged out the door.

That left Tristan alone in the shop.

Seraphina looked at him, highly amused. "Mr. Spencer, don't you have a company to run?"

It was absurd. He was the CEO of the Spencer empire; no one in their right mind would make him bus tables at a tiny bakery.

Tristan offered a gentle, unbothered smile. "I'm fine. You go do what you need to do. I'm perfectly happy just sitting here enjoying my tea."

Seraphina quickly realized that both Spencer siblings shared an infuriating stubborn streak. Knowing she couldn't win, she let it go. She had to help her mother anyway and couldn't afford to babysit a billionaire.

The bakery hummed with a peaceful, happy energy.

But that tranquility was suddenly shattered by a commotion outside.

A crowd of customers who had been heading toward their door suddenly pivoted, swarming en masse toward the opposite side of the street.
