Unloved Unwanted Unstoppable (Seraphina and Dominic) novel Chapter 201

Dominic's gaze tightened. That voice... was it Gideon?

He turned around and sure enough, Gideon Cole stood at the entrance, radiating an aura so freezing it seemed to chill the very air in the room.

Cynthia spun around in terror, gasping sharply at the sight of the newcomer and freezing completely in place.

Phoebe, who had been trembling in Seraphina's arms, immediately teared up upon seeing Gideon and threw herself forward to hug his legs.

"Uncle Gideon..."

Everyone else in the shop was dumbfounded.

This little girl was actually Gideon's niece?

Lily was equally stunned.

She had been wailing at the top of her lungs, but the sheer darkness on Gideon's face scared her so much that she swallowed her tears, cutting off her cries instantly.

Sniffling, she shrank back to hide behind Dominic.

Why did this man look so much scarier than her dad?

Gideon crouched down, gently lifting Phoebe's chin. His gaze turned incredibly somber as he took in the red finger marks on her face.

"What happened here?"

No one said a word.

Seraphina took a deep breath, stepped forward, and recounted exactly what had just transpired.

Lily panicked, screaming in a hoarse voice, "That's not true! She hit me!"

Seraphina looked at her daughter, her tone laced with deep disappointment. "Lily, there are security cameras right here."

Lily bit her lip and finally fell silent.

She stared blankly at Seraphina, her eyes flashing with venom.

Her mother was so mean, actually taking a stranger's side over hers!

Gideon straightened up and leveled a frosty glare at Dominic, his tone laced with ice.

"So, how exactly do you plan to handle this?"

Dominic swallowed hard, bowing his head.

"I apologize, Gideon. This is entirely my fault. I failed to discipline my child properly."

Whoever offended him today deserved far worse than just a broken leg.

Everyone inside the shop witnessed the brutal scene, terrified to even breathe.

Nobody dared to intervene, and certainly, nobody dared to leave.

Seraphina closed her eyes, knowing she had no right to object; Gideon's niece had been bullied in her shop, and he had every right to dole out his own punishment.

Dominic held Lily tightly, his fingers curling with tension.

Cynthia stood behind him, her head bowed as she tried to make herself practically invisible.

After snapping his own leg, the bodyguard hobbled unsteadily back to report his completion.

Too terrified to step back inside, he remained propped up at the doorway.

"Get out."

Gideon spat the single command.

Granted a sudden reprieve, the bodyguard limped away as fast as his broken leg could carry him.

Dominic held his daughter, his expression darkening, but he didn't linger for a second before turning to leave.
