Unloved Unwanted Unstoppable (Seraphina and Dominic) novel Chapter 210

Dominic scoffed coldly. "You're going to lose."

Seraphina walked right back to the edge of the pool.

Harvey finally managed to scrape together a shred of courage, screaming at the top of his lungs, "Crush her, Dominic! Show some people what a real athlete looks like!"

Yvette clapped her hands frantically. "Dominic! When you win, make her apologize to Cynthia!"

Cynthia watched the entire spectacle unfold, a faint, deeply satisfied smirk gracing her lips.

She was absolutely certain Seraphina was doomed this time.

Dominic had literally shattered a world championship record in the five-hundred-meter dash during his university days.

There was absolutely no way Seraphina could out-swim a man capable of beating world champions!

The whistle blew.

Both of them dove into the water simultaneously.

Seraphina's entry was just as flawless as before. Her arms carved through the water in a rapid, relentlessly steady rhythm.

Dominic, swimming fiercely in the lane beside her, executed razor-sharp, explosive movements.

The two of them tore down the lane, dead even.

The spectators held their breath, their eyes glued to the two figures shooting through the water like torpedoes.

Tristan stood at the edge of the deck, his fingers unconsciously gripping the metal railing so hard his knuckles ached.

Dominic was undeniably a powerhouse.

His upper body strength completely eclipsed Seraphina's, his strokes were massively wide, and every pull he made was fueled by a ruthless, arrogant desperation to win.

Yet, Seraphina's rhythm was absolute perfection. Every single burst of speed was calculated with the terrifying precision of a machine.

Even when Dominic managed to pull slightly ahead by sheer force,

Seraphina instantly closed the gap the very next second.

From the corner of his eye, Dominic caught sight of the relentless shadow sticking to him, and his pupils constricted in shock.

He clamped his jaw shut, violently accelerating his strokes to tear ahead.

But Seraphina seemed entirely immune to fatigue, matching his brutal pace effortlessly.

As she turned her head for a breath, she even casually glanced over at him—a look that simply assessed him as a wholly unremarkable opponent.

An inexplicable, maddening surge of irritation erupted in Dominic's chest.

He had assumed he would humiliate her effortlessly, entirely unprepared for this woman to be such a terrifyingly relentless challenger.

Entering the final fifty meters, nearly every single spectator on the deck was on their feet.

She knew perfectly well that even if she had flat-out destroyed Dominic in the race, he would never have forced Cynthia to actually apologize.

Dominic had always protected Cynthia like she was made of fragile glass.

Taking a deep breath, totally done with the pathetic circus, she snatched up a heavy towel and walked away.

Dominic pulled himself out of the pool just as Cynthia, who had rapidly masked her fury, hurried over with a fresh towel.

Dominic took the towel, his gaze unconsciously tearing through the crowd to search for Seraphina, only to catch a final glimpse of her back.

He frowned slightly, suddenly struck by a jarring realization—not only could she swim, she was practically elite.

He stared at her retreating figure, entirely lost in a trance.

Cynthia immediately tracked Dominic's gaze.

He was relentlessly watching Seraphina leave, and his eyes weren't filled with disgust or fury. Instead, there was a shocking trace of... awe, layered with an emotion she couldn't quite decipher.

Cynthia sucked in a sharp breath. "Dominic, are you okay?"

Dominic finally snapped his eyes away, perfectly smoothing out his expression. "I'm fine."

After speaking, he looked down at his own open palm. Just moments ago, that very hand had smashed into the wall at the exact same fraction of a second as Seraphina's, separated only by a thin splash of water.

Watching Dominic stare at his own hand like a man obsessed, Cynthia dug her nails viciously into her palms.
