Unloved Unwanted Unstoppable (Seraphina and Dominic) novel Chapter 209

Seraphina shook her head. "I'm fine. Thank you, Mr. Cole."

Standing on the outside, Cynthia dug her manicured nails so deeply into her palms that she almost drew blood.

He was stepping in to protect Seraphina. Again.

Why her?

The dead snake was hastily scooped up by the cleaning staff and shoved into a black trash bag.

The tense crowd began to loosen up, muttering among themselves as they prepared to disperse.

Harvey stared mournfully as his exotic pet was hauled away like garbage, spinning around to follow the staff.

Seraphina's voice rang out flatly. "Harvey. Where's my prize money?"

Harvey froze mid-step, his face flushing crimson with rage. "My snake is dead because of you, and you still have the nerve to ask for the money?!"

Gideon leveled a freezing glare at him.

"It seems the punishment was far too light."

"No, Gideon, I didn't mean you, I swear..." Knowing he was digging his own grave, Harvey instantly dropped his head in submission.

Gideon let out a chilling huff. "Since you announced a cash prize, you will pay it."

Harvey didn't dare breathe a single word of defiance. His chest heaving with fury, he gritted his teeth, ripped out his phone, and aggressively transferred the five million dollars.

Seraphina glanced down at her screen, confirmed the deposit, and offered a thoroughly satisfied, radiant nod.

Just then, Myles's phone buzzed aggressively in his pocket; it was the exact same billionaire client calling for the third consecutive time.

Myles shot a cautious, pleading look at his boss.

Gideon ignored him completely, keeping his focus on Seraphina. "Enjoy the rest of the party, Ms. Sinclair. I must take my leave."

Seraphina nodded gratefully. "Don't let me keep you, Mr. Cole."

Gideon spun on his heel and strode purposefully out of the venue.

Seraphina watched him leave before turning her attention back to Harvey.

Harvey felt a terrifying chill race down his spine under her intense gaze. "What else do you want?"

Yvette's face exploded into a violent, terrified red. "Shut up! Seraphina, you're crazy, don't drag Gideon into this, you—"

Ever since Gideon had viciously shut her down in the past, Yvette was absolutely terrified of him.

When he had walked onto the deck just moments ago, she had practically thrown herself into the shadows to hide.

And now, this witch was dragging her into a comparison with the man? She wouldn't dare say a single disrespectful word about Gideon, even if someone held a gun to her head.

Seraphina was utterly despicable.

Panicking and desperate to defend herself, Yvette's face turned completely purple, unable to form a coherent sentence.

Dominic stepped forward, shielding Yvette as he locked eyes with Seraphina. "Seraphina, stop trying to twist the narrative. If you're so utterly obsessed with rules and winning, then I will race you."

Tristan frowned sharply. "Dominic, you're a grown man challenging a woman. The physical disparity is massive. Even if you win, it's pathetic."

Dominic completely brushed him off. "If she wants someone to humiliate themselves and apologize, she needs to prove she actually deserves it."

Tristan's frown deepened, ready to rip into him again, but Seraphina cut in. "Tristan, it's fine. I'll race him."

She stared directly at Dominic, her gaze turning incredibly heavy. "I certainly hope you keep your word this time, Mr. Lockwood."
