Dominic stared at that single sentence and suddenly laughed.

Later that evening, Seraphina was driving home from work. She merged off the congested main road and turned onto a quiet street in the East End.

The sky had gone pitch black, the streetlights sparse and dim.

Seraphina followed the familiar route toward her house.

Suddenly, an unlicensed car tore out of an intersection, barreling straight toward her vehicle!

Her pupils constricted as she yanked the steering wheel hard to the right.

But the oncoming car was too fast and too violent. With nowhere to dodge, her car took the brutal impact directly on its side. It spun wildly out of control before violently flipping over into the drainage ditch by the road.
