Dominic turned his head and cast a glance at Cynthia.

Her face was pale from the wind, looking incredibly exhausted yet fiercely indignant on his behalf.

Right then, the deafening roar of jet engines echoed from nearby.

Dominic looked up toward the sound.

Another private jet was slowly touching down on the tarmac.

"What's he doing here?" he muttered in a low voice.

Cynthia looked over as well. "The Spencers are here? How do they know about Lily?"

They both watched as the cabin door unsealed and swung open.

A figure stepped out of the aircraft first.

Tristan descended the airstairs, then turned back, extending a hand toward the doorway.

The next second, Seraphina emerged, leaning heavily on her crutches.

Tristan held onto her, guiding her down the stairs with immense, gentle care.

The hand resting at Cynthia's side secretly balled into a tight fist.

Why was Seraphina here?

Cynthia's lips pressed together, her gaze locked onto Seraphina from a distance.
