Chelsea opened the invitation, skimmed it, and raised an eyebrow. "An award for an experimental project? The girl is impressive."

A look of genuine warmth finally broke through Tristan's stoic facade. "She really does work hard."

Chelsea snapped the invitation shut and grinned. "Well, I want to go too. Are you willing to invite me, Mr. Spencer?"

Tristan clearly hadn't expected her to say that. He paused, looking at her in surprise.

Chelsea had originally just said it to lighten the mood, but seeing his reaction, she doubled down honestly. "What, am I not welcome? I might not be in the science field, but I'm great at clapping, and I love hyping up brilliant young women."

A light, genuine smile finally reached Tristan's eyes. "Of course you're welcome. You're one of the most remarkable businesswomen in Northport. My sister would be thrilled to know you're attending."
