Unloved Unwanted Unstoppable (Seraphina and Dominic) novel Chapter 507

Dominic stared down at the man pinned to the pavement, his expression terrifyingly dark. He marched over, grabbed the man by the collar, and slapped him hard across the face.

The blow was brutal enough to draw blood from the corner of the man's mouth, but Rick Miller kept his jaw clamped shut, refusing to utter a single word.

Unwilling to waste another second on him, Dominic released his grip and ordered coldly, "Take him to the police station. Let them interrogate him properly."

The driver immediately complied, hauling Rick up alongside the assistant to take him away.

Only then did Cynthia finally use the side of the car to pull herself upright.

She had taken a nasty hit to the shoulder. Her face was frighteningly pale, but completely disregarding her own pain, she rushed to Dominic's side, her eyes brimming with sheer panic. "Dominic, are you hurt? You terrified me! When I saw that knife, my mind went completely blank. All I could think about was that I couldn't let anything happen to you."

As she spoke, her eyes reddened, and her voice choked with sobs. "If anything ever happened to you, I would be utterly heartbroken. I'd rather take the knife myself..."

Her words dripped with agonizing devotion, but in reality, every single syllable was a calculated reminder that she had just been willing to lay down her life for him.

Cynthia reached out, trying to grab onto his arm the way she always used to, but Dominic casually sidestepped before her fingers could even brush his sleeve.

"Stop talking."

Cynthia's hand froze in mid-air.

There wasn't a trace of the old affection left in Dominic's eyes. "We're both perfectly fine now. Even if you genuinely intended to save my life just now, I will compensate you. You can ask for whatever amount of money you want, but that is where this ends."

His tone was absolute zero. "Cynthia, whatever was between us is completely dead."

With that, he didn't spare her a second glance, turning on his heel to walk away.

From the safety of her car parked a short distance away, Seraphina had captured the entire scene. A flicker of surprise crossed her mind.

In the past, Cynthia only needed to let a single tear slip, and Dominic would practically scorch the earth trying to pin the blame on anyone else.

But now, not even this melodramatic "life-saving" stunt was enough to make him look back. It seemed Cynthia had genuinely managed to break his trust beyond repair this time.
