Unloved Unwanted Unstoppable (Seraphina and Dominic) novel Chapter 553

Thinking of the tragic end of the Sinclair family, and thinking of how Seraphina ended up utterly alone—even dying a gruesome death beneath the wheels of a car for a daughter who had never truly appreciated her—Dominic felt a chill seep into his very bones.

He didn't dare think about it any further.

He had always believed that marrying him was the greatest stroke of luck Seraphina could ever have in her life.

But now, to his horror, he realized that perhaps meeting him had been the greatest tragedy of her entire existence.

Dominic clenched his fists tightly, the veins on the back of his hands bulging.

After an indeterminate amount of time, a tear suddenly hit the blanket.

It wasn't until his face was completely wet that he suddenly realized he was actually crying.

After an unknown amount of time, Dominic's emotions finally settled.

He raised his hand to wipe the tears from his face, ready to sit up, when a thought suddenly flashed through his mind.

Wait, why was he in the hospital?

It was because of that fire!

Seraphina had been trapped in the flames by Cynthia. He rushed in to save her and ended up carrying her out, but the moment he reached safety, he completely lost consciousness.

What about Seraphina?

How was she? Was she hurt?

Thinking of how she had been completely unconscious, Dominic's heart tightened. Ignoring the pain radiating through his body, he threw off the covers and got out of bed.

He had been unconscious for several days, so his body was still very weak. The moment he stood up, a wave of dizziness washed over him, and he nearly collapsed.

But he couldn't care less. Supporting himself against the wall, he stumbled out of the ward.

"Nurse! Where is the woman who was brought in with me? Seraphina Sinclair, where is she?"

The nurse was startled by him and quickly checked the records.

"Ms. Sinclair has already been discharged."

"Discharged?"

Dominic froze, then asked urgently, "Is she okay? Did she suffer any permanent damage?"
