Chapter 18 Luciana’s White Dress
Henry remained unmoved and asked calmly.
William snorted. He replied without thinking, “What the hell are you talking about? I don’t know any of that crap. You pissed me off, so you deserved what you got! What, want revenge? You came here specifically to mess with me? You’re just trash and a crippled asshole!”
His language was too foul. Rosalie’s gaze turned sharp. She said coldly, “Watch your mouth!”
“Oh wow,” William remarked, looking up, “there’s even a gorgeous babe here to see me. Not bad! Hey beautiful, how much for a night?”
Henry raised his hand to stop Rosalie from saying more. He looked into William’s eyes. “You know what I want. Tell me who really ordered you to do this. I’ll write you a letter of leniency. You might get out in five years instead.”
For a moment, William’s eyes showed a flicker of struggle. Then he sneered with a dark expression. “What kind of joke are you trying to pull on me? I don’t understand your nonsense. Oh, ordered! Right, is that hottie next to you your wife? She’s the one who ordered me to do it. I’m her boy toy.”
Murderous intent flashed in Rosalie’s eyes. “Do you want to die?”
Feeling her gaze, William felt a chill. But there was no turning back now. He continued with a savage grin, “Not happy? Come kill me then! Listen here, cripple, you better write me that leniency letter fast. Or when I get out, I’ll come find you again and cripple your arms too.”
Henry remained calm. “Fine, I got it. We’ll see each other again very soon. Then you’ll talk.”
“In your dreams!”
“Rosalie, let’s go.”
Rosalie stared at William. Then she pushed the wheelchair out of the visiting room. William just sat there, somewhat dazed. After a long while, he muttered to himself, “Damn, those two people … they’re both freaky as hell.”
Outside the prison.
“Ten years in prison is getting off too easy for him,” Rosalie said coldly.
Henry chuckled. “No need to get angry. He’s just a scapegoat, putting on an act.”
Rosalie glanced at him with a somewhat strange expression. “Henry, you’ve really changed.”
“Oh? How have I changed?”
“I don’t know how to put it. I just feel like you’re becoming like… like those big shots.”
Henry burst out laughing, “Ha! What kind of big shots have you seen?”
“I saw them on TV,” Rosalie said quietly.
“TV shows are all fake!”
“Maybe, but that’s just how I feel.”
Rosalie pushed the wheelchair at a steady pace. “By the way, I take back what I said earlier.”
She couldn’t help but say, “Hubby, you look so handsome!”
Oh no, I suddenly feel like I’m not good enough for my husband anymore! She silently warned herself. My husband is so handsome now, he’ll probably charm countless women. He even wants to divorce me. No way, absolutely not!
Henry cleared his throat and composed himself. “Stop being a fangirl and let’s eat. Which restaurant did you order these dishes from?”
“Hey! Why can’t I be the one who made it?” Luciana said with displeasure.
Henry smirked dismissively, “With your skills? You’re not built for that.”
Hearing this, Luciana looked down at herself. “Oh, really? Want to know what this body’s built for?”
Luciana’s figure was incredible. She was so curvaceous that when she looked down, she couldn’t see her feet. This only added to her stunning appearance.
Moreover, her beauty could be considered perfect.
In terms of appearance alone, hardly any woman could surpass her.
Henry’s gaze wavered slightly.
He didn’t look further. He picked up his plate and fork to start eating with his head down.
