In the end, Reina had no choice but to run toward two armored vehicles and circle around them while the wild boar chased her.

Two snipers were lying on top of the armored vehicles, firing continuously at the boar.

No one knew how many bullets had hit it. At last, the boar’s speed began to slow. It staggered for a moment, then its front legs buckled and it collapsed heavily onto the ground.

Blood foam bubbled from its mouth. It panted heavily while staring at Reina with bloodthirsty eyes.

Reina was completely exhausted as well. She leaned against another armored vehicle to catch her breath, keeping a wary eye on the boar in case it suddenly jumped up again.

“Hey! What exactly did you do?” One of the snipers leaned his head out from the vehicle and complained. “How did you provoke that thing?”

This creature held grudges like nothing else. Even their mercenary team did not dare provoke it easily.

Yet she had been running around alone with a Level 3 mutant wild boar chasing her everywhere. The beast had even slammed into their vehicles several times, leaving dents in the armor.

Reina looked innocent. “I don’t know either.”

The sniper was speechless.

“Forget it. Just leave already. Don’t stay here and get in the way.” He waved his hand impatiently, telling her to go.

“Okay.” Reina nodded and turned to leave.

Before she went, she glanced at the wild boar again, feeling a deep sense of regret.

That was a Level 3 mutant beast. If she could harvest from it a few more times, she would definitely gain a lot of attributes.

Unfortunately, two snipers were sitting right there. She could hardly walk up and start touching the beast in front of them.

That would be impossible to explain.

Reina looked around. The mutant beasts that had been scattered by the wild boar were starting to move again, cautiously testing the human lines.

Reina looked away and chopped two mutant insects near her feet into pieces. Then she said quietly, “Ignore them. Let’s stay closer together. Don’t give anyone a chance to take advantage.”

Chloe nodded and held the flamethrower tightly while watching the surroundings with caution.

Just then, two mutant beasts, each over three feet tall, charged toward them.

Reina did not hesitate. She used all her strength and cut down one of the beasts.
