Reina knew better than to go head-to-head with the guards. Still, she could just agree on the surface and do her own thing later.

She slipped back into the room, shut the door, and packed up. Anything that could fit into the backpack went into the backpack. She did the same with the wicker basket, stuffing it until it was piled over the top.

In the end, she only left out her gear, potions, and weapons, along with that piece of Level 2 mutant beast meat.

She had not cooked this one. It was still raw, and it could not sit around for long.

So she messaged Taylor, “I have a piece of Level 2 mutant beast meat here, 66 pounds, low contamination value. Do you want it?”

Taylor replied instantly, “Yes! Which building are you in? I’ll come get it right now.”

‘Building 7, fourth floor, Room 59. Hurry, I’m about to head out.”

After sending the message, Reina carried her kettle to go get water, then went to the shared bathroom to wash up.

When she came back, Taylor was already standing at her door, sweating.

‘You’re here.” Reina greeted him and stepped up to open the door.

Taylor nodded with an apologetic smile, rubbing his hands as he waited at the doorway.

Reina went inside, pulled out the piece of Level 2 mutant beast meat, and handed it to him. “Just this one piece. It’s probably 66

ounds.”

aylor quickly packed it into a sealed bag. He was confused about why all the meat this girl got always looked so perfectly squared iff.

teina said, “Got it. I’ll go buy a few from you in a bit. I also need a smaller backpack. Help me get one ready”

Okay!” Taylor hurried off as soon as he said it.

teina closed the door. She ate a handful of mutant rabbit meat first, then stored both the backpack and the wicker basket into the

east-hide pouch.

And sure enough, they really did both go in.

That finally put Reina at ease.
