Nathaniel checked the time.

He knew it was about time, so he called Wren.

"Dad, we happen to be free today. Want to go see how the expansion of the ancestral graves is coming along?"

Nathaniel hung up and looked at Cecilia.

"Want to go watch a show?"

Cecilia lifted her eyes to him.

For the past several days, Nathaniel had practically moved the office into her company. "What show?"

"Something about Robert," Nathaniel said.

"Sure." Cecilia's eyes lit up.

Every day lately had been work and more work. She could use a little entertainment.

She went with Nathaniel in the car to the place where the ancestral graves were.

The moment they arrived, they saw it.

The empty wasteland beside the ancestral graves was gone. In its place stood a high-rise still under construction.

Cecilia had known about it for a long time already, so she wasn't surprised.

But Wren, who had only just arrived not long ago, stood in front of the building with shock written all over his face.

"What is this supposed to be?" Wren snapped, already pulling out his phone to call Robert. "Didn't you say you bought this land to expand the family graveyard? Why are you building houses on it instead?"

Robert clearly hadn't expected Wren to find out today.

He hurried to explain. "Wren, don't get worked up. There's a reason for it. Give me a few days, and I'll explain everything to you."

"What reason? Tell me right now. Don't play me for a fool!"

Robert had no way around it. He didn't want to offend his foolish younger brother just like that, so he gave in.

"Wren, I'm coming over now. I'll explain it to you in person."
