“Jonathan, you’re not getting any younger. How much longer can you keep this up? Wouldn’t it be better to have someone share Sean’s worries now?

Jonathan nodded thoughtfully. Of his three sons, only Sean was capable. The idea of Sean being held back by his siblings in the future made him frown. Finally, he asked, “What about you?”

Sophia rolled her eyes and sneered, “It’s not like you’re handing the Chandler Group to me anyway. Why should I care?” She was just there to enjoy the drama up close.

Jonathan said, “Then who is it?”

Seeing Jonathan get impatient, Sophia said the name: “Wilbur Spence.”

Jonathan froze, surprised. “Wilbur?”

Sophia nodded, a faint smirk on her lips. “That’s right. Wilbur.”

Jonathan suddenly felt proud. He thought, ‘So Wilbur is my son? I knew my genes were good. There’s no way all my sons could all be useless. Wilbur went to a top university and got a master’s degree.

‘He has only been with the company for six months but has already become Sean’s right–hand man. Trustworthy, eloquent, skilled, and smart. Everyone in the company likes him.

‘What a blessing it must be to have a son like him. I never imagined good luck would come to me like this.‘

Jonathan asked sharply, “Are you sure about this?”

Sophia shrugged. “It’s easy. Do a DNA test if you’re not sure.”

Jonathan thought she was right and left. Sophia leaned casually against the doorframe, arms crossed. The dagger in her hand caught the light. A mysterious smile played on her lips.

Sophia thought with a smirk, ‘Just accept him as your son already. How else am I supposed to enjoy the show? The Chandler residence has been so quiet and boring. School’s starting soon–I can’t stay at the Chandler residence all the time.

‘That’s why I have to bring Wilbur in. Every day will be like a bloodbath. Once Wilbur’s in, I’ll bring Mireille out too, and we’ll team up for revenge. The Chandlers are doomed. Just thinking about it gives me chills.‘

While Sophia was making her plans, Howard’s fan group was busy as always. The members were plotting revenge against her, with some even suggesting they crowdfund Howard’s comeback.
