The price of betrayal (Jack and Ashley) novel Chapter 386

Embarrassing? Niall trembled when he returned to the kitchen. He clutched the knife in his hand tightly. However, he released his grip helplessly in the end.

Sharon's brother had bought a new house and a new car. Her mother had also bought a house in the city. Where did they get the money?

On the other hand, Niall never had more than 100 dollars in his pocket. He even had to borrow money from his parents to build this two-story building. Was it really because they had no money? Where did Sharon's family get the money from?

It wasn't like Niall was completely unaware. He put up with all this for a reason. However, he couldn't really take it anymore. And now, he only held himself back for the sake of the child.

If the child really wasn't his, he had no idea what he would do. He might be an honest man, but he was no fool.

Tyler felt better after returning to the private room.

After that, a few groups of people came in to drink with Megan. All of them showed respect to her.

When it was finally quiet in the room again, Tyler held his glass and smiled at Megan. "Megan, it's such an eye-opening experience to have a meal with you here. I've always known that you're a hotshot. I just haven't expected that you're so well respected. It's great to have you join the family reunion.

"Megan, here is a toast to you."

Smiling, Megan stood up and replied, "Tyler, you flatter me. It's nothing. It was my mistake that they kept bothering us and spoiled Dad's and Mom's moods during the meal. Dad, Mom, I hope you don't mind that."
