Nolan looked at Scarlet and said gently, "You're going there on official business, so don't mess with Fang. Otherwise, he'll just come running to me, whining and complaining."
That one line made Nolan and Fang's relationship clear to everyone.
"Mr. Baxter, Mr. Riley, I called both of you here because there's something I need you to do. Find me an auditing team to conduct a thorough investigation into Rio Village's Village Enterprise. I want everything completed within a week.
"My men will look into the internal issues, but I still need something concrete to show my parents, don't I? We'll follow all the official procedures. The Greene family reunion is in one week. You're welcome to join if you're free."
Nolan then added with a chuckle, "It's time I make my parents proud, don't you think?"
Archie and Lincoln understood what they had to do perfectly. They were to back Nolan up at his family reunion.
While they didn't know why Nolan needed their support, they weren't about to refuse his request. It wasn't even a difficult request.
Archie looked at Nolan with a smile. "Mr. Greene, I find your devotion to your parents truly inspiring. Don't worry. We'll get everything done, and we'll definitely show up at your family reunion next week!"
Nolan nodded in response. He then got up slowly and glanced at the sky. "It's getting late. You should head back now.
"I suppose I should be heading back as well." Nolan's expression hardened as he spoke.
