The price of betrayal (Jack and Ashley) novel Chapter 421

Audrey and Nolan's relationship was something Archie was somewhat aware of, which left him feeling slightly conflicted. Beyond Audrey, however, the situation involving Megan and Jeanne were decisions that even Archie himself wasn't entirely capable of handling.

Nolan stayed silent for a moment before shaking his head slightly. "Just do what needs to be done. There's no need to ask me.

"The Weiss family has nothing to do with me anymore. Even though Audrey and I are still friends, I have no relationship with Mr. Weiss," he added firmly.

"Send someone over. Most of their money didn't come from clean sources anyway. Donating it will give them a chance to do some good."

Archie felt reassured by Nolan's response and nodded decisively. "Understood. I'll arrange for someone to visit them shortly.

"What about Megan and Jeanne? How should we handle their situation?"

Nolan's expression darkened at the mention of their names. His brows furrowed as he replied coldly, "Handle them as they deserve. If we've extended them courtesy and they refuse it, there's nothing more to say.

"Now, go take care of it. I need some rest."

Archie left immediately to carry out the orders.

Soon enough, representatives sent by Archie, including a lawyer named Alaric Vaughn and two men dressed in black, paid a visit to the Weiss family.

"Mr. Weiss, have you finalized the assessment of your assets? When do you plan to proceed with the donation?" Alaric asked directly.
