Once she was done speaking, Megan swept her greedy gaze over Misty Hill. Then, with a smile, she continued, "I really like this place. Nolan, you don't deserve a place like this. Do you get what I mean?"
Nolan nodded. "Misty Hill took a great deal of effort to build. What you're seeing now is just the tip of the iceberg. The real environment here is far better than you can imagine. In fact, I can tell you that living here long-term can keep a person free from illness, improve their overall health, and offer countless other benefits. Megan, you like it, don't you? You want it, don't you?"
Megan nodded. "I do like it, and if I want it, that's me giving you some face, Nolan. You wouldn't dare refuse, would you? After all, without Myth Group, you're nothing more than a lamb waiting to be slaughtered. You're barely able to keep your life, yet you think you can hold onto Misty Hill? So it's best if you hand it over willingly."
Looking at Megan's greedy face, Nolan nodded. He then extended his hand and said, "Sure, I can give it to you if you dare to take it. Come back and ask me again when you're certain you're brave enough to take it.
"But for now, call Owen. Tell him he can have Myth Group. But if he doesn't want to die, he'd better make sure to keep my friend alive. Otherwise, I promise he and his entire family will die a horrible, horrible death."
As Nolan spoke, a chilling glint of murderous intent flashed in his eyes. The cold, unrelenting look was enough to make Megan, who had been ready to mock him, swallow her words. Even though she hated the feeling of being intimidated by Nolan, she couldn't help but tremble.
After all, the look in Nolan's eyes was absolutely terrifying, as if he had no qualms about truly killing her at that moment.
