Aiden Finnegan's Medical Odyssey novel Chapter 29

"Not at all!" Aiden blurted out as he drove.

"In that case, you can continue sleeping in the utility room!" Angelina snapped.

Hearing that, Aiden finally realized his mistake and grumbled in secret, Aiden, you're a dummy!

Linda, who was sitting in the backseat, was startled upon hearing their conversation. Based on Angelina's tone, it seems like she wants Aiden to sleep in her room. Although his status has elevated, who knows if he'll ever end up like the Webb Family…

Meanwhile, Harvey laughed when he noticed that his daughter had finally opened up, but that wasn't the case for his son-in-law.

When they arrived home, Angelina walked straight into her room on the second floor. Aiden followed behind her and said, "About that… I just remembered that the room could get quite cold at times."

"Is that so? Well, you can cover yourself with more blankets." With that, she entered her room and left him out there. However, there was a smile on her face as she closed the door.

At night, Aiden felt frustrated as he lay on his tiny bed in the chilly room. Why am I that dense? he thought to himself.

The next day, Aiden woke up early since he wanted to look for places to set up his medical center. He didn't expect to bump into Angelina, who was back from her morning jog.

"Where are you heading to this early?" she asked puzzledly.

"I'm going to look at a few properties!" He smiled.

"Property viewing?" Angelina's expression turned solemn. "You're still insistent on leaving the Gray Residence, aren't you?"

"No, I'm viewing properties for the medical center!" he explained.

"Turns out you're indeed planning on opening a medical center, eh?" Angelina frowned. "Let's put aside how much it's going to cost. However, do you think that you're a doctor just because you treated Old Mr. Thatcher? Aiden, be more realistic. Since you've never had any formal training in medicine, you'll get yourself into trouble one day if you simply rely on the knowledge you learned from the books! You were just lucky with the Webb Family and Thatcher Family. Get a grip!" Angelina was frustrated.

Aiden was disappointed upon hearing that and smiled helplessly before replying, "In the end, you still don't believe me!"

"How am I supposed to believe you? Did you attend medical school?" she asked coldly.

"One day, I'll show you how outstanding I can be!" Aiden responded before leaving the house.

"I know that you're trying to prove yourself and make me change my mind about you, but there are many ways to do that. Why do you have to be so unrealistic?" Angelina shouted as she watched him leave.

"Be realistic? By staying at home and cooking?" He scoffed. Aiden ignored her and walked toward the gate of their residential quarters.

"Aiden!" she called out to him again. She was enraged when he walked away without looking back. Her impression of Aiden had changed last night, but what happened this morning made her change her mind again as she felt that he was being naive. What happened last night probably made him bolder and fueled his thoughts.

After leaving his house, Aiden went straight to Vermilion Avenue since most of the medical centers were located there. He wanted to look for vacant shops or existing medical centers that were put up for rent.

Much to his disappointment, none of the shops on Vermilion Avenue were available for rent. He then walked over to the medical center where he had done pill refining before, but he noticed that it was closed. After asking around, he was told that the old doctor had some family matters to attend to, so the center had been closed for a few days.

Just as he was about to leave, his phone rang. He noticed that it was from an unknown number upon looking at his phone screen. "Hello, who is this?"
