Aiden Finnegan's Medical Odyssey novel Chapter 31

"Who is it?" yelled the elderly man in black when he saw Aiden standing in front of him. At the same time, Aiden frowned when he saw Arnold.

When the bodyguard finally made sense of the situation after being startled by Aiden's act of kicking the door open, he raised his gun and fired at the elderly man in black after noticing Arnold laying on the ground.

However, the elderly man managed to dodge all three bullets.

Before the bodyguard could fire another shot, the elderly man flung out a dagger aimed at the bodyguard. His movements were so swift that the bodyguard didn't notice it. Just as the dagger was about to stab the bodyguard's neck, Aiden stretched his hand out and deflated the dagger.

"Hmm, it seems like you're the master!" the elderly man exclaimed in surprise. In the beginning, the elderly man hadn't paid much attention to Aiden, thinking it was the bodyguard who kicked the door open. Before the elderly man could react, Aiden dashed over and landed a punch on him.

The elderly man who suffered the blow was thrown to the back, and his body smashed into the wall, leaving a big dent in it. As he spat out blood incessantly, he pointed at Aiden and growled, "W-Who are you? I-I never knew… there's someone like you in Keyland!"

"Stop sputtering nonsense! You're about to meet your death!" Aiden scoffed. The elderly man glared at Aiden resentfully and died after taking his last breath.

A deadly blow! The bodyguard looked at Aiden in shock, for he never expected an ordinary youth like him to be a martial arts master.

Just as the bodyguard was still in shock, Aiden exclaimed, "Help Arnold up!"

Hearing that, the bodyguard quickly kneeled to carry Arnold. As Aiden examined his injuries, he frowned. "It was a powerful blow!"

Arnold's complexion was pale as he waved at Aiden weakly. When Aiden finally went up to him, he grabbed Aiden's hand and muttered using his last breath, "Mr. Finnegan, I don't think I can hold on any longer. Please promise me that you'll take good care of her. I'm childless, so I see her as my own." He became weaker as he mumbled, "Take care of… Take care of…"

"You should take care of her yourself!" Aiden replied impassively.

The bodyguard who was crying his eyes out looked over at Aiden coldly upon hearing that. He didn't understand why Aiden refused to fulfill a dying man's wish or even try to coax him. Arnold mentored Gina's bodyguards and taught them many things, which was why they saw him as their teacher. How could the bodyguard not be mad at Aiden's reaction when he was already saddened by the fact that Arnold was dying soon?

As Aiden glanced at the disappointed Arnold, he responded, "As long as I'm here, Death won't be able to take you away."

With that, he took out his needle pouch, placed it next to him, and walked behind Arnold. "Hold him!"

Soon after, Aiden placed his palm on Arnold's back, and a surging essential energy entered Arnold's body. Upon feeling the sensation, Arnold's pale complexion turned healthy.

"I didn't expect your inner energy to be this pure! I was wrong about you!" Arnold said.

"Stop talking. I can only protect your heart and veins using my essential energy for now. You are severely injured. A few of your ribs have been broken, and some of your organs are damaged!" Aiden uttered.

"Mr. Finnegan, don't waste your energy. I know my condition well!" Arnold replied.

"Shut up! Aiden growled. The next moment, he tapped on a meridian situated behind Arnold's back and started setting the man's bones. Although Aiden had previously tapped on the meridian to numb the pain, Arnold's face was still contorted from the pain, and his forehead was covered in sweat.

"Jack? Jack! How is Arnold's condition? Did an explosion happen moments ago?" Gina's voice could be heard coming from the walkie-talkie.

Arnold is a martial arts master, so who the hell whacked him up? Also, is Aiden a miracle doctor?

"Ahh!" Gina screamed when she saw what Aiden did. Although she wasn't a doctor, she knew that the GV-20 on top of a person's head was the most important meridian, and one would die if it was touched. Aiden just inserted a needle there, so Arnold…
